Rovermatt Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Interesting that the media are getting the knives out for Roy Keane but Ince is being left alone. The media couldn't give a fiddlers about Rovers, no matter who is in charge or the strife currently being experienced.

martonrover Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 For me it's the league placings of Bolton,Fulham and Wigan that puts our current position into sharp focus. If they can cut it why can't we?
Eddie Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Interesting that the media are getting the knives out for Roy Keane but Ince is being left alone. no...it is called being logical. Keane has. Had time and has spent millions
vintageadidas Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 How did West Brom lose that game? They played really well, i have only seen one worse team than ourselves this season and that was Sunderland, who beat us!
LDRover Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Interesting that the media are getting the knives out for Roy Keane but Ince is being left alone. Is this the same media who, only last week, were questioning why Keane was being left alone while Ince was under pressure, insinuating racism?
thenodrog Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Interesting that the media are getting the knives out for Roy Keane but Ince is being left alone. Cue Keane clearing off and Sunderland appointing Allardyce.
67splitscreen Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Cue Keane clearing off and Sunderland appointing Allardyce. Must be an early tee off today.
rover6 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 no...it is called being logical. Keane has. Had time and has spent millions Exactly. £10 million on a keeper, wasn't it? A plethora of the dubious Man U diaspora and a hamlet of expensive Irishmen - and they're still struggling.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 For me it's the league placings of Bolton,Fulham and Wigan that puts our current position into sharp focus. If they can cut it why can't we? They play more or less the same team every week, they have a team shape and pattern of play which suits the players they have and they stick to it.

Not sure he has his coaching badges either. From now on, like the Premier League I won't accept a manager without them. Oh and the backroom staff would ideally have some too. According to Wiki (which might be wrong) Allardyce was given the "badge for having been around for a long time" yet still did the course and badges themselves. That shows, to me, someone not content to rest on their laurels but to embrace all aspects of the game. Wish I'd noticed it before. Would have swayed me a lot.

I think that the situation with Grant was a bit different. He had studied everything which would qualify him for the Pro Licence but at the time Israel weren't allowed to award it. But now UEFA have licenced the Israel FA to award it. Not that it matters anyway because I doubt Grant will be coming to Rovers.
T4E Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Hahahaha get off the pitch you greasy little (Please don't use that word again)wit!!!!
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Ronaldo should be off. He's been such a mardy little sh!te recently. And he's off.
RevidgeBlue Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Ronaldo sent off at COMS!!! Howard Webb you beauty!
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Double yellow. First he fouled someone, got a yellow, sarcastically clapped but didn't get a second yellow. Then he had a strange moment and punched he ball out. Deliberate handball.
RevidgeBlue Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 What has he been sent off for? Handball, 2nd yellow. He seemed to be claiming the whistle had already gone.
dopper69 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Then he had a strange moment and punched he ball out. Deliberate handball. Really?! I'll look forward to seeing that later!
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 It was more like he missed the header and slapped out at it rather than a Mike Tyson tantrum.
cn174 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 He reckons he heard a beep just before he went to head it, that's why he tried to catch the ball. What a beep has got to do with anthing I dont know!

1864roverite Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 arsenal beating chelsea 2-1 Robin v Persie double
speeeeeeedie Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 It really is a strange season. I'm happy that Arsenal beat Chelsea as it makes life interesting at the top. The other results favoured us too. Despite our terrible run we're still not far from mid-table obscurity, however it it keeps going we'll be set adrift with West Brom and probably Sunderland. How long does Hughes have left at City?
