yellowsubmarine Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 It really is a strange season. I'm happy that Arsenal beat Chelsea as it makes life interesting at the top. The other results favoured us too. Despite our terrible run we're still not far from mid-table obscurity, however it it keeps going we'll be set adrift with West Brom and probably Sunderland. How long does Hughes have left at City? Hopefully until January.

Blue blood Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 West Ham picked up a point against liverpool which doesn't help our cause. Looks like they're beginning to stop the rot.
T4E Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Keane is probably the only current Prem manager I'd want less than Ince.
BRFC95 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 West Ham picked up a point against liverpool which doesn't help our cause. Looks like they're beginning to stop the rot. Not surprised they picked up a point, they played with two keepers The fullback handled the ball more than Green
CrazyIvan Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 'Recreate the din'? It wasn't that loud. December 2000 was loud!
Bobby G Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Early reports say Keane has left Sunderland...
grizfoot Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Early reports say Keane has left Sunderland... Keane and Sunderland part company.
TugaysMarlboro Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Early reports say Keane has left Sunderland... Aye just heard it on a couple of radio stations and SSN are saying it now. Mr. Nicko is this true?
Majiball Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 the odds are already in!!! Odds next Sunderland Manager My monies on BFS for this one, I reckon he would revel in trying to take Sunderland above the magpies. Funds are also not an issue. Cheeky tenner has been placed.
Bobby G Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Big question marks over his future and Id be well peeved if I was Quinn or the fans, having been handed 80 million pounds to spend on players that are largely worthless, and wont have any sell on value other than Jones...
Majiball Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 TBH I thought he made some good signings. Cisse, Gordon, Malbranque (SP) Tanio, Ferdinand are all good premiership players.
Hughesy Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 He also made some awful ones, aswell as falling out with half the team. Sunderland to go down, unless they get a good boss in.
Bobby G Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Gordon at 9 million pounds? Ferdinand at 8 million pounds? About 15 million pounds for Spurs driftwood? Cisse is only on loan...
Manc Rover Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 the odds are already in!!! Odds next Sunderland Manager My monies on BFS for this one, I reckon he would revel in trying to take Sunderland above the magpies. Funds are also not an issue. Cheeky tenner has been placed. We have to act NOW and get BFS in befre he goes up there! As for Keane, at least he can now concentrate on the Iran presidency!
Wild Irish Rover Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Prophetic words from the BBC website.. "Keane becomes the fourth managerial departure in the Premier League this season. More to follow. " Let's hope another ex-manc young blood falls on his own sword soon
Grabbi Graeme Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Man Utd finding it difficult to find a way past Sunderland, we could do with Utd getting a goal in the next 8 mins Utd score 90 mins with a lucky goal
LeChuck Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Sunderland show what getting rid of an inept manager can do to a team. Very unlucky not to get a point, but it's good for us that they didn't.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Sunderland were unlucky against Utd with that performance, this is scary stuff folks.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 I watched all the game, S'land v. unlucky not to get a point. They defended like they cared.
tonygreenbank Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Sunderland were unlucky against Utd with that performance, this is scary stuff folks. Sunderland were being slated on the radio and on Setanta for the way they set their stall out. Defeat was inevitable. Unlucky? Absolutely not!
