West Brom 1-0 up on Pompey at half time, which as it stands means we're bottom of the league.

and none of our players are going to give a ****.

Ok, Ince has to go, but as sure as hell do also half of the team. Disgrace.

Tugay, Derbyshire and Dunn can stay.

The rest of the first team are playing to impress Hughes and the arabs, bu failing even at that.

Anyone see the Villa game? Amazing stuff.

And in Transfer Gossip -

"Tore Reginiussen has been on trial at Blackburn but is still seeking a move to the Premiership."

And from our messageboard some Fulham fans seem convinced that Roy is looking into the possibility of signing your Derbyshire if and when Nevland goes.

Give my apologies to Roy Boy ffan, I gave him a bit of a kicking when you appointed him, just shows what I know. He seems to have learnt a thing or two since he was here. I wouldn't let Derbyshire go to a rival team, he knows where the goals are alright , he just needs the service. May swap him for Bullard though.

Aye, I'd have to apologize to him too

Bullard would probably be let leave for around 4 -5 million, the same amount yous paid for Vince Grella...

To give everyone an idea of the magnitude of the task Paul Ince's successor will face it is probably easier to name Paul Robinson and Tugay as two Rovers players whose agents are not currently actively soliciting a move away from Ewood Park.

The local press in the north east have reported Kinnear as allegedly saying his £12m spend would go on Riise, Warnock and Samba and he is not under any instruction from Mike Ashley to sell anyone.

At least Newcastle are still planning to pay top £.

So are you implying that the trust have began a meltdown at Ewood and are actively downsizing the business philpl.

That doesn't refer to the Trust at all.

I am more than implying however that the agents of most of the Rovers' first team squad are currently peddling them for moves away from Ewood.

At least in January, they can point to a run of top half finishes and good Cup runs in England and Europe on their current CVs- get to the summer window and they could be goods damaged by relegation.

Thanks for the clarification philipl.

Just seen Tottenham coach Tim Sherwood on Setanta giving it chapter and verse about what they're going to do tactics wise second half against west'aaam and saying in his opinion they're there for the taking! :o

Never seen anything like that at all before!

What an arrogant little gobs***e! He's going to look a right tool if they get beaten!

Spurs move 5 clear of us now. 6 if you take our goal difference into account. 3 points now means we still are in the bottom 3. INCE HAS TO GO!! TRIS you need to realise this!

Seeing that table in print is absolutely dire. At the weekend we're away to Wigan, and Newcastle travel to Portsmouth in what is a very winnable game. Sunderland and West Brom will be playing each other which means atleast one of them will pick up points. The nightmare scenario is we lose, Sunderland beat West Brom and Newcastle beat Portsmouth. That leaves us 5 points from safety and the same amount of points even from 18th. Arguably 6 with the GD.

That would mean we're almost guaranteed to still be in the relegation zone when we go away to Fulham on 10th January.

More to the point Tugay - rather than what other teams are doing - we need to win 9 of our games to get to 40 points. That's the kicker. Win just under half our remaining games to stay up.

Jesus, when you put it like that it is bad news.
