ihtd Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Looks like Mark Hughes can join the list of Ewood alumni to not go onto better things after an immediate move. I can't see the Arab owners keeping him around much longer at this rate. Shame because he did so well for us, would of liked to have seen him come back to Ewood, still might yet, but i can't see how he is going to keep his job in this results business, with the players he has at his disposal.

LeChuck Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Well, that's Hughes practically out of a job. Hughes to Sunderland maybe... ?
Majiball Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Some familiar chants going on in the WBA game.
Presty On Tour Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Some familiar chants going on in the WBA game. You're getting sacked in the morning, sacked in the mooorrrning!!!! Hughes looks furious with his arms folded
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 There is definately 1 midfielder, English and has speed and quality that is going tobe available in January. That man is Nigel reo-Coker. He will be sold by Villa in january after 2 on the traning field spats with a coach and fellow player and this being the reason why he is not first choice int he team anymore. He seems to have a bit of previous re fall outs with the coaching staff, didn't he leave WHAM under a similar cloud. Another one who could cause trouble in an empty house ?
LeChuck Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Some familiar chants going on in the WBA game. "Boing Boing Baggies Baggies" ??
Majiball Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 back heel from penalty spot for equealiser as long as City don't win I can live with it.
Presty On Tour Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 nice goal! A draw would be the best result for us.
Majiball Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 "Boing Boing Baggies Baggies" ?? More like your getting sacked in the morning. Morrison just put in two WBA players chance created, neither could decide who was going to hit it hilarious.
Backroom Tom Posted December 21, 2008 Backroom Posted December 21, 2008 How did Carson let that in? Nice attempt but never in a million years should it have gone in.
Majiball Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 How did Carson let that in? Nice attempt but never in a million years should it have gone in. did it go in off him? But your right should have been a save, bet he's happy bednar saved his bacon.
Backroom Tom Posted December 21, 2008 Backroom Posted December 21, 2008 Brilliant by Meite he got them that from nothing, have some of that Sparky. Love it!
brfcshabba Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 It is so tight at the bottom I am going to adopt the stance of not bothering with other results and only worry about us picking up points. It seems any team from 12 can be in the scrap
vyeo Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Great result for us. Keeps man city in touching distance and keeps alive the prospect of hughes getting fired after a defeat at ewood..
Backroom Tom Posted December 21, 2008 Backroom Posted December 21, 2008 Having looked at the table your right it is ridiculously tight, realistically we are far from out of it even with a defeat on Boxing Day. Beat our rivals and we should be ok.
trs Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 It is so tight at the bottom I am going to adopt the stance of not bothering with other results and only worry about us picking up points. It seems any team from 12 can be in the scrap Exactly, It only matters what we do. We have to start winning games ....simple as
Rover4ever Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 If we didnt win against Stoke, I would have been seriously p***** at not waiting for Hughes to get sacked before reappointing him
tony gale's mic Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 If City stay in the zone come January, they could actually be in serious trouble this season. The top players they'll supposedly bring in January won't want to come to a team that won't have European football next season, let alone one that looks like it could end up in the Championship.
RevidgeBlue Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Loving that result. It would be priceless if we win on Boxing day and Citeh lose, then we stuff them on the 28th as well. Glen Hoddle sticking the knife into Sparky as we speak. As cookiemonster says, if we do our stuff, it doesn't matter about other results. Just looked at the table and we're only nine points behind Hull (who are on a downward spiral) in 6th so anyone could get dragged into trouble really. Oops can't count. Make that eleven. Hull in 6th are only nine points clear of the relegation zone. My point still applies.
Presty On Tour Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Wild scenes at the Hawthorns! Although Hart was at fault for the goal, Meite's contribution was like Maradona! Newcastle and Spurs drawing 1-1, N'zogbia and Modric the scorers. The table is so tight, I'm not which is the best result for us?
philipl Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Sparky was always able to organise a defence for Wales or Rovers. Any ideas why this has completely been lost to him at City?
tony gale's mic Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Sparky was always able to organise a defence for Wales or Rovers. Any ideas why this has completely been lost to him at City? The clue is in the final word of your post. Wild scenes at the Hawthorns! Although Hart was at fault for the goal, Meite's contribution was like Maradona! Newcastle and Spurs drawing 1-1, N'zogbia and Modric the scorers. The table is so tight, I'm not which is the best result for us? Draw. Keeps them both right in it. Although Spurs win wouldn't be bad, can see them getting out of it either way.
