Eddie Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 I thought it was any game. It's still a good laugh though. One of Britain's biggest prospects going down the pan after 12 months at Tottenham. If the papers are to be believed he, along with the rest of Spurs' overpaid misfits, will be quaking in their boots today hoping they're NOT playing tomorrow. If Huddlestone does we should get a bid in on Monday. It is matches that he has appeared in. Quite an amazing statistic really.

philipl Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Looks like Wigan have got Watson and are getting Hunt and Raballado. Mido looks like it could be inspired if he gets along with Zaki. Wigan might have pulled off selling their best players and ending up stronger. They had the good fortune of dealing with Villa and Spurs whereas Rovers have the misfortune of being stalked by the rank amateurs at City.

Heskey is getting on, and was out of contract in 6 months - they did what they had to! £3.5m is also a cracking deal for them. Spurs are terrible to deal with, they pay their deals over 3 or 4 years, at least City will pay it all upfront.
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Hmm... Archie Knox and Chris Sutton are contenders for the Inverness Caledonian Thistle job: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t..._ct/7842208.stm
Backroom Tom Posted January 24, 2009 Backroom Posted January 24, 2009 Just seen an interview with Tony Adams, is it just me or does the seem totally out of his depth? The bloke seems clueless.
thenodrog Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Just seen an interview with Tony Adams, is it just me or does the seem totally out of his depth? The bloke seems clueless. Just a little 'strange' imo.

gumboots Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 More like cokeless. or coked up. It's the habit you know. He twitches as much as 'Arry too.
John Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Just seen an interview with Tony Adams, is it just me or does the seem totally out of his depth? The bloke seems clueless. Don't know why but got a particular hatred for him, and hope he fails. His comments on Ince still rile me. Spurs fan said to me yesterday, at least we have another trip to Wembley and a cup final to look forward to. Hope they get get hammered in the final. Harry just cannot stop moaning, seems to be a constant theme whichever club he is at.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 That penalty was absurd. No wonder the Dingles hate Mason so much.
John Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Loves going public with his bids: Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed he has made a bid for Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones.
Billy Castell Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Hopefully he'll be tapping up the likes of Alex Bruce, Jonathan Walters and Herman Hridersson as Spurs seek to consolidate after Spurs' shock relegation to the Championship. I don't really know how Harry has earned such a loved reputation. He has had little lyalty to the south coast rivals Southampton and Portsmouth, uses press conferences to tap up players and has had allegations and question marks some over financial transactions that give a a slightly corrupt air. And he has not won much in his long managerial career.
John Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Anyone know if this guy is any good? Wolves midfielder Mark Davies has emerged as a transfer target for Bolton.
ffan Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Anyone know if this guy is any good? Wolves midfielder Mark Davies has emerged as a transfer target for Bolton. From Miquel Veloso to Mark Davies?
BRFC1995 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 harry redknapps an utter discrace and needs hammering by the fa. never wanted a team down more than spuds this year
Guest Kamy100 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 harry redknapps an utter discrace and needs hammering by the fa. never wanted a team down more than spuds this year Why what's he done?
gumboots Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Why what's he done? Nothing he hasn't always done but somehow manages to get away with it because he's loveable Arry, the cheerful(or not so cheerful) cockney who all the media seem to think is wonderful. I agree that I'd love to see Spurs go down more than any other team. Love them to take Newcastle with them too. another club that still thinks it's bigger than it actually is.
Majiball Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Spurs Bolton and the Toon going back home would suit me fine. Its nice to see WBA still scrapping away and picking up points. But I have to agree kinnear seems destined to take them down. H'arry if he keeps saying such things about his players surely its only going to make the job harder, behind closed doors fine but publicly?? I was quite surprised by him on that one. Have just read Micah Richards to the Gooners for 7M, surely not?? 7M your having a a laugh if he's avail at 7M we have found our new right back.

Majiball Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I'm sure Richards would turn down Arsenal in favour of us. I would Maybe he wants to stay living in manchester?
rover6 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I'm sure Richards would turn down Arsenal in favour of us. never mind. it weren't funny anysways.
ffan Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I am led to believe Fulham have had a bid rejected for Joe Ledley ( We offered the 4 million we got from the bullard deal, obviously looks like we are struggling to find a replacement) and strong rumours tonight that Hunt is going to Spurs.
