Backroom DE. Posted January 28, 2009 Backroom Posted January 28, 2009 Newcastle with Owen and Barton injured now, deary me. Barton's injury was literally from nothing as well, he kicked the ball and was then injured? I think they said he stubbed his toe or something
RibbleValleyRover Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Newcastle with Owen and Barton injured now, deary me. Barton's injury was literally from nothing as well, he kicked the ball and was then injured? I think they said he stubbed his toe or something Lovejoy on 606 said Owen is out for up to 6 weeks and Barton up to 10 weeks. Newcastle could be in some real trouble.
HemelRover Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 I watched the liverpool game today. What a good player Benayoun would be for us on the right.
Bing Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Lovejoy on 606 said Owen is out for up to 6 weeks and Barton up to 10 weeks. Newcastle could be in some real trouble. If Given goes next week the Newcastle will be in all sorts of trouble. Only Tony Adams' incompetence may keep them up.
Hi Mack Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 If Given goes next week the Newcastle will be in all sorts of trouble. Only Tony Adams' incompetence may keep them up. Any sell on clause for Given?
Backroom Tom Posted January 28, 2009 Backroom Posted January 28, 2009 Hull are dropping like a stone, shame they probably already picked up enough to be ok.
Eddie Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Don't think they have, they'll get dragged right into this.
67splitscreen Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Owen & Barton injuries confirmed. Oh dear never mind.
Backroom DE. Posted January 29, 2009 Backroom Posted January 29, 2009 Judging by last night's 'performance' Hull will definately be down there come the end of the season... they made West Ham look like Man Utd.
thenodrog Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 I watched the liverpool game today. What a good player Benayoun would be for us on the right. After watching him at Ewood last season I'd have much preferred Ince to go for him rather than Pennant in the summer. Perfect for us but not much chance of getting him now. I watched the liverpool game today. What a good player Benayoun would be for us on the right. Scousers are NOT happy with Rafa today.
67splitscreen Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 They had to be on the wacky backy to believe it could happen, notlobs. Veloso
67splitscreen Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 They had to be on the wacky backy to believe it could happen, notlobs. Veloso Arsenal to offload striker, has to be a better option than the players from Europe, with no Prem experience. Bendtner
Blue n White Rover Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Arsenal to offload striker, has to be a better option than the players from Europe, with no Prem experience. Bendtner I've always been impressed by his quality. I think its only his finishing that lets him down most the times. He is brilliant in the air, as good as Santa Cruz, can keep hold of the ball. Makes a great impact from the bench aswell. Could be an ideal replacement. His biggest problem like I said is his finishing, just watch the Burnley game for an example.
Billy Castell Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Isn't he a bit of a tool as well? I would be fine with a move for him, but not for any more than £4m and sensible wages.
philipl Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Not just Rovers upset by City tactics. Unlike Rovers, JFK has come straight out with an attack on City for talking big and offering small.
67splitscreen Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Bendtner is still not the finished article, go back just under two years and look at RSC, without the injuries and younger. For 5m now, improve him and in two years how much. Many have said some players struggle to to show there true potential by moving to big clubs to soon. IMO Bendtner is a perfect example. We could make this guy into another 20m player. The trustees will be spanking it.
1864roverite Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Kevin Nolan fee agreed between Bolton and Newcastle

broadsword Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Mark Lawrenson talking about Benitez: "Since Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez had his kidney stones removed I think it has done something to him. All of a sudden it's back to cautious Rafa. " What is he on???
Amo Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Hehehe, Spurs are actually trying to rewrite history. Defoe? Keane? Nooo, they never left. It was all a bad dream.
BuckyRover Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 I considered that he might be trying to re-unite the squad that was so close to the Champions League. The team that ate the dodgy Lasagne
