thenodrog Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Stoke down to 10 men for most of the match too!
ffan Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Carlos Queiroz is at Bolton...might be to help Veloso settle in?
Tim Southampton Rover Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Tony Adams out of a job me thinks!
Ricky Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Results were perfect for us to take advantage by picking up 3 points, unfortunately it wasn't to be.
DeadlyDirk Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Jimmy Bullard is apparently out for the season. Where have you heard that? In nicko's thead he always said that Bullard would struggle with a medical, wonder if it was an old injury?
ffan Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Where have you heard that? In nicko's thead he always said that Bullard would struggle with a medical, wonder if it was an old injury? Scott Parker gave him abit of a drubbing at West Ham last week. I mean he took Bullard knees out around 2/3 times...
Ossydave Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Bullard is, and always has been a crock. Adams, well I'm not gonna post what I know about him lately.
meerkat Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Would be great if Sunderland stuffed the big club tomorro!
Zulu Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Would be great if Sunderland stuffed the big club tomorro! Every chance.
rovgers Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Would be great if Sunderland stuffed the big club tomorro! Yeah, especially if they beat them by 2 goals or more. It will give us the phsycological edge being out of the bottom 3.
leftfooter Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Philip; now that he's apparently 'on the edge', are you ready to concede defeat in your assertions of 6 weeks ago that Adams (as a reformed character) would not be a flop at Pompey?
ffan Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Can anyone explain the loan rules to me? Is it 2 players from any club in England at one time and as many as you want from abroad?
dingles staying down 4ever Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Can anyone explain the loan rules to me? Is it 2 players from any club in England at one time and as many as you want from abroad? thats it roughly
they_think_its_all_rover Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Scott Parker gave him abit of a drubbing at West Ham last week. I mean he took Bullard knees out around 2/3 times... Rumour going around Hull is that he's out for the season, but the amount of rumours that go round 80% of the time are never true. Phil Brown said on the radio that the Physio has said it's a fresh injury, not the one he had at Fulham. The guy who did his knee surgery is flying in from Denver to take a look. The Hull City doctor believes it could just be a cartilage injury which would put him out for 2-3 weeks after an operation.

I remember the offical line at Fulham being similar when he first got crocked at Newcastle
philipl Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Except loans from abroad technically don't exist as the registration passes to the borrowing club with an agreement to pass it back. Leftfooter, I am so happy you follow my every word so closely. I wouldn't ever want Adams within a million miles of Ewood but you have to conceed that the circumstances at Pompey are hardly normal with arguably his two best players flogged off without replacement. That said, he still has decent players and their performances are a shambles. Shame he beat the Rovers.
ffan Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Fulham signing Oliver Dacourt and Brian McBride...oh dear...
alexanders Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 How many points do Newcastle have? Anyone got a live table?
