tony gale's mic Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Excellent to hear Newcastle lost today and are being dragged back into it. Their next 5 games: Man U (H) Hull (A) Arsenal (H) Chelsea (H) Stoke (A) Those two away games for them are huge. If they win both, theyre out of trouble. If they lose both, they're odds on to go down in my book. Britannia certainly isn't an easy place to go.
frosty Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 There's still a few mins left in the Newcastle game.
Presty On Tour Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Petrov 45mins. We won, Hull and Newcastle lost and with Stoke losing, results are going our way today.
Backroom Tom Posted March 1, 2009 Backroom Posted March 1, 2009 Not premier league but Ronaldo just been booked for diving in Carling cup final, probably a penalty in honesty but Andy Gray's defence of Ronaldo is sickening, in my opnion Ronaldo can have no complaint if he got booked every single time he goes down cause he has done it so much in the past why should the ref belive him now if it's a close call. Even when he doesn't dive he does his best to make contact with the defender to force a foul.
Guest Kamy100 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Villa now 2 up against Stoke. Good day all round for Rovers.
Stuart Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 2-2 Full Time, back in the relegation zone. Wrong mate. GD means they stay 2nd bottom. Rovers 17th.
imy9 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 2-2 Full Time, back in the relegation zone. Who is certainly not Rovers.
Eddie Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 A draw isn't bad and as I don't want to see Villa finish in the top 4 I'm not unhappy with the result. If they'd won it would have been a problem for us, but I think we'll pick up more points than them over the rest of the season.
Guest Kamy100 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Wrong mate. GD means they stay 2nd bottom. Rovers 17th. Quite right. Still a great day for Rovers.
Mr. E Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 So, we're still waiting for a result this season that is sort-of positive in our favor.
Iceman Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 All the results today, was in our favour. Newcastle have Man United next, and they certainly in trouble again. Hull are now in big trouble, as are Man City. City however will probably scrape through this season!
Stuart Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 So, we're still waiting for a result this season that is sort-of positive in our favor. Honestly! Stay away from the knife drawer. It's a shame Brad couldn't have given us the icing on the cake but don't let a lucky point from the long ball specialists overshadow a good day for Rovers in terms of results.
brfcshabba Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 United win the Carling Cup - Bentley misses a penalty
Stuart Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 And the biggest cheer of the day goes off when Bentley misses his penalty to lose the cup final for Spurs. Bitter much?
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 What a good day this is turning out to be!
Rovermatt Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Gutted to see United win but equally happy to see Bentley miss his penalty. What a tosser.
