John Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 It would be nice if the managers of our relegation rivals would take the Ince approach when playing the 'big four'. Sadly, even they are not that stupid.
Hughesy Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Iv got 1 team letting my accumulator down - Ipswich!!!!
1864roverite Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Pompy seem to be up for it versus Chelsea and have just missed a sitter.
alexanders Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Crouch was very alone. All men in attack for Chelsea on that corner kick.
alexanders Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Chelsea ahead ! If pompey get relegated I would love us to go for Kranjcar.
1864roverite Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 A Rovers win tomorrow can easily reel in all the clubs up to and including Bolton back into the dogfight. Its all very very interesting.
leftfooter Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Chelsea ahead ! If pompey get relegated I would love us to go for Kranjcar. As long as Kranjcar stays fit, Pompey will likely stay up.
Lurid Coat Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 For one, I somehow doubt that we have enough funds to buy Kranjcar, and he also probably wouldn't want to join Rovers, what with Arsenal and the likes allegedly being interested. Would be a great signing, though.
Presty On Tour Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 The results definitely went our way tonight. Good work by the big teams bringing their stuff from the locker.
Hughesy Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Hopefully Bolton & United can do the business tonight, mixed with a spuds draw and a Rovers win. All of a sudden we would be 13th/ 14th on goal difference.
47er Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Hopefully Bolton & United can do the business tonight, mixed with a spuds draw and a Rovers win. All of a sudden we would be 13th/ 14th on goal difference. And a Fulham win against Hull?
BRFC1995 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 man u had to rest giggs and scholes and play park and fletcher, this stinks spanish joker gave boro a leg up and now this 1-0 unreal
rover6 Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I was watching this interview with Andrei Arshavin and something struck as very peculiar. How much does the guy sound like Jose Mourinho - particularly his languid self-confidence, nonchalant demeanour and even his inflections. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/f...cus/7929416.stm
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Er...no? Not sure who we want to win this...Spurs have a much better goal difference. Sigh. We need some luck. Or a miracle.
Bobby G Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Both of them should be safe, sooner or later it would have become clear. Its between us, Boro, Newcastle, West Brom, Stoke, Portsmouth and Hull for the three spots I reckon. Nevertheless, better that Spurs just equalized!
