'JT’s mum nicked Pedigree Chum'

The Sun reveals she received an official police caution after being stopped at Tesco 'loading a...haul of cheap gear into a car'.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article2346852.ece

No disrespect to John Terry's old mum, but after seeing her picture one can only assume that she was let off with a caution after convincing officers that Top breeders recommended it as part of her staple diet.

anyone else seen the shananingans at manchester city over the tickets for their uefa cup quarter final? basically, they have played in front of half empty stadium so far in the competition, so now they have reached the QF, they put tickets on sale TO ALL last week at #5 each.

No priority for loyal fans, supporters clubs etc.

There were huge queues from the supporters of "the massive club" meaning that season ticket holders couldn't get their seats. most of the people in the queue are skanky mancunian touts who have bought 10 or 20 tickets, which they will flog on for 20 or 30 quid each to people who can't go and join a queue on a wednesday morning.

of course the club have made all the noises about "our marvellous fans" of this "truly massive club". but the fans who went to all the previous rounds have now been overtaken by touts and scallies in the rush for tickets.

the club aren't bothered about loyal supporters: as long as they have the money in the bank, who cares?

What a surprise.

Players from the Sheffield United squad relegated from the Premier League in 2007 are pursuing £5m in compensation over the Carlos Tevez saga. (The Guardian)

Who's next.? :D Surely we can claim a league placement loss. ;)

All deserved in my eyes. The more awards there are against West Ham the further it exposes the premier leagues involvement in this debacle.

This is a botched job by the premier league who have allowed cheats to prosper and continue to protect west ham against further sanction to protect themselves. Why the rest of the league stay so silent and complicit is beyond me.

Not to worry though. They have £32m quid coming when they finally sell on Tevez... oh yeah I forgot, this is the lie the premier league continue to ignore.

Since this I have no faith that football is a fair sport, its merley a media driven soap opera, which don't get me wrong I enjoy watching. I probably won't once we get to the royal rumble stage though!

And me. Or is it because the Prem may come under the power of the law too? Is there no chance of WHU (or indeed anybody else) sueing the Premier league for all these damages as it was their decision that allowed them to stay up at the expense of Sheff Uted etc.

Will be interesting to see if Tevez joins United in summer on a permanent deal - I wouldnt be suprised if he doesnt.

i think he might be off to madrid in the summer, i don't think he has done enough at United for Fergie to splash all that cash on him

If I was him, I wouldnt sign for them anyway. He works so hard, yet Berbatov is just lazy and usually starts ahead of him.

Madrid, Chelsea, CITY? They are all possibilities and Im sure they could probably get some dodgy loan from that agent of his.

Do any of you actually know what rule West Ham broke ?

The only rule they actually broke was that Kia could terminate Tevez's & Mascherano's loan to West Ham at anytime.

Hardly the crime of the century........

But saying that I agree that West Ham should have been docked points but that was the Premier League's failing not West Ham. Why West Ham are being portrayed as cheats is beyond me........more an administrative error and not understanding the rules in place at the time.......

Are you really that naive? They knew full well that continuing with the deal whilst saying they had torn up the agreement was against the rules. They may have been innocent in the first place but you don't carry on being innocent when your offence is continued and you lie about it.

Eh?

They knew exactly what they were doing and continued to lie about it.

No I am not that naive, they thought Kia was going to buy west ham then the clause would have been torn up and nobody would be any the wiser....they then compounded the mistake and the premier league's by letting tevez continue to play.

Just a small point, West Ham averaged more points per game that season without Tevez than with him.

I just don't get why west ham are liable when the Premier League run the league.

A very dangerous precedent has been stated here which could have a lot of future reprecussions..........

How Scudamore is still in a job is anyones guess.....

1 Tevez scored some major goals for them, the winner against moan u on the last day plus the goals against us and others

2 The premier League make the rules west ham broke them

3 If you don't break the rules there should be no problems

4 I have to agree

"Why West Ham are being portrayed as cheats is beyond me........"

BECAUSE THEY CHEATED - THEY BROKE THE RULES AND LIED TO THE AUTHORITIES!!!!

"more an administrative error and not understanding the rules in place at the time......."

Even if this were the case - highly doubtful - how do you explain the continued lying afterwards? Come off it, you really are in denial. One of the only thing all football fans are united on is that West Ham cheated and deserved to go down. The fact they've got away without paying the proper penalty is one of modern football's most shameful decisions ever. Up there with it is denials from wham fans that they've not done anything wrong.

Oh, and incidently, if a judge failed to sentence a murderer to jail and instead gives them a caution - does that make the murderer less guilty? No, it just shows the incompetence of the judge. The sooner West Ham go insolvent the better.

I have to say 'cheats' is a bit harsh, all they actually did was break what is a pretty stupid rule anyway, I'm still not sure why all that paperwork nonsense actually mattered.

Still, that rule was there and they were very stupid for breaking it, and as everyone else was playing by the rules then they have to punished.

It's not liked they pumped their team full of steroids or something though, I think all the hysteria surrounding the situation is very OTT for what is basically a bureaucratic matter.

Because they lied. it's not so much the original infringement which could have been a mistake - we've all thought we've filled in forms properly at times only to have them sent back and asked for clarification or whatever. However, we don't compound the original error by telling lies and hoping nobody will ask any more awkward questions. We put things right. They failed to and therefore they acted as though they were outside and above the rules. That's the bit that gets people's goats.

4 I have to agree

Tevez's goal on the last day of the season against Man Utd made no difference whatsoever, West Ham only needed a draw to stay up 0-0 would have done just fine.
