T4E Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Pathetic defensive error from Arsenal. They started really well so totally against the run of play. Park with the Man United goal. Really harsh that. The kid was unlucky. Ronaldo just scored a screamer of a free kick, game over after 10 mins.

alexanders Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Really harsh that. The kid was unlucky. Ronaldo just scored a screamer of a free kick, game over after 10 mins. OK it was a screamer, but as always coming from a soft free-kick and rubbish keeping from Almunia. I hate SCUM!
Guest Vinjay606 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Good thing Arsenal aren't responsible for maintaining "weapons of mass destruction" they would probably set them off by mistake. Talk about a self inflicted defeat and that's what it will be barring a total miracle.
RevidgeBlue Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Terrible keeping on both goals imo. Should have stood up on the first and the second should have been a comfortable save.
T4E Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Almunia has just made up for it with a superb save from Rooney. Worth bearing in mind that without him Arsenal would have been coming back to the Emirates already 3 or 4-0 down.
Backroom DE. Posted May 5, 2009 Backroom Posted May 5, 2009 This one will end 3 or 4-0 if this keeps up. On another note, how bias is the ITV commentary? It's like Man Utd are a foreign team
Guest Vinjay606 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Almunia has just made up for it with a superb save from Rooney. Too little too late. He's made up for nothing. Arsenal should invest in a new keeper next season. Obviously their current 2 don't have what it takes.
alexanders Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 This one will end 3 or 4-0 if this keeps up. On another note, how bias is the ITV commentary? It's like Man Utd are a foreign team I like the ITV commentary - he is being honest and saying that Utd got a soft free-kick. 2 words from the ITV commentary describing United : - "Went down easily" - Cheap
Exiled_Rover Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Jeez, Ferguson sets out his £1bn squad in an ultra defensive formation and is gifted 2 goals. Some people really do have all the luck.

Guest Vinjay606 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Course it's unbiased. Wouldn't be like Clive Tyldesley to be biased towards Man United would it?
Backroom DE. Posted May 5, 2009 Backroom Posted May 5, 2009 Jim Beglin sounds very pro-Arsenal tonight. He's not even pretending to be neutral
Guest Vinjay606 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Somebody has to counter Tyldesley's blatant love of all things Man United.
Ste B Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Or in fact you hatred of all things ManUre. After the last few champs league games, nothing will surprise me, but I can see ManU getting another on the break.
Grabbi Graeme Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Well at least the Man Utd fans won't have far to travel home as the game is being played in London.
Ste B Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Vinjays not rung through a bomb scare has he ??? Sniffer dogs in an area of the ground now !!
RevidgeBlue Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Jim Beglin sounds very pro-Arsenal tonight. They're obviously going to talk up Arsenal's efforts in an attempt to make a dead rubber sound more interesting. Like someone else said above, ITV must be gutted such a high profile and showpiece game was effectively over inside ten mins.
Backroom DE. Posted May 5, 2009 Backroom Posted May 5, 2009 Man Utd showing why Arsenal are 4th in the table. Miles behind any of the top 3.
Guest Vinjay606 Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 QUOTE (Ste B @ May 5 2009, 20:49 ) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Vinjays not rung through a bomb scare has he ??? Sniffer dogs in an area of the ground now !! Can't have been that serious. Would have evacuated surely if it was.
Amo Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 They're obviously going to talk up Arsenal's efforts in an attempt to make a dead rubber sound more interesting. Like someone else said above, ITV must be gutted such a high profile and showpiece game was effectively over inside ten mins. It wasn't so much talking up their chances, more disputing every foul given against them.
Backroom DE. Posted May 5, 2009 Backroom Posted May 5, 2009 At least it's not Liverpool, the commentators would be in tears right now if it was.
