This was a one time opportunity to send the barcodes down and I think its gone amiss.

Cant see Boro beating them, and considering Newcastle have a home game against Fulham, you'd expect one win at least from them.

Stranger things have happened though.

Not yet. Don't be so confident Newcastle will win any more games this year. If they win at Boro I unfortunately think they'll stay up, as I can't see Hull getting another point this season. However, I still think(hope?) it'll either be a draw or a win for Boro.

Either way, who cares, we're staying up :rover:

I know it is Man U, but the last game is 4 days before the Champions League Final. So any of Rio, Vidic, Van Der Saar, Rooney, Ronaldo, Carrick, Giggs and Tevez are likely to be rested. Having said that, Hull are so poor right now the Man Utd. academy team could beat them. I seriously hope Hull don't ruin my chance of Schaedefruede over Newcastle. I'd even let West Brom win 12-0 if it meant they stay up at Newcastle's expense.

However, it is good to see Fulham challenging for Europe. I have always seen Hodgson as a decent guy, even when he ballsed us up, and it also puts Spurs in their place.

Id love to see Boro winning there, but even if they do, I still fancy the barcodes to win at home to Fulham.

I know we beat them but Fulham are a cracking little team. Newcastle are shockingly bad. Why do people think they will suddenly find the form and points needed to get out of the mire? They're screwed.

I don't get it either. Boro is the ONLY game I can see them taking any points from in their run in, which actually could mean they stay up, as I very much doubt, unfortunately, that WBA, Boro or Hull would have what it takes to leapfrog them in the last two games.

Hoping for a draw on monday to send both Boro and the Jawdies down.

I have no loyalties to either of the NE teams.

If one is to stay up then I would want Boro, simply because I see them as less of a threat to us next season.

Hull have to be wetting there pants, they just can't win a game for love or money.

I'll stick with the signature though, there going down, more the sweeter with AS in charge, legend at Ewood or not.

Had a look at the order of the remaining fixtures and the current table:

1) Man U have three games (City home, Wigan away, Arsenal home) before Liverpool next play again so will in all probability be crowned Champions before Liverpool kick another ball. In those circumstances, it might not be inconceivable for the Baggies to get something from the visit of Liverpool a week on Sunday. Which of course will delay what appeared to be their inevitable relegation until their visit to Ewood by which time they would be on a run of three wins...

2) It is now mathematically impossible for the 7th placed team NOT to qualify for the Europa League. Fulham are in the driving seat and I sincerely hope they solidify their position when they visit Tyneside.

3) The Tyne-Tees derby tomorrow is basically a Cup Final for Premier League survival. Whoever wins stays up, Hull are that bad that even a United team on holiday is bound to ruin their goal difference on the last day.

4) That said, Villa are in such a generus mood at present, Newcastle and Boro's games against them both look like potential wins for the strugglers irrespective of how poor the north-eastern sides are.

Oh, and Ledley King apparently got arrested for ABH last night.

Only a short time since Jermain Defoe lost his brother another Tottenham Hotspur player suffers a similar scenario.

http://msn.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...5308323,00.html

This isn't related to the Defoe incident in any way (this happened abroad) but it's somewhat of a coincidence but not anything more sinister. Though it looked that way at first before reading the article.

I'm pleased not to be related to anyone of notable fame. Would hate my death to be reported as "brother of random celeb/sportstar murdered."

IF anyone is watching city vs scum it just showed how unfair the premiership is.

United just got away with a similar decision as Keith Andrew's handball yesterday. The player who shot at Keith was even closer and gave lesser chance to move his hand.
