modes98 Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Claude Makelele is leaving for PSG according to the BBC. Does this clear the way for a move for Barry? I can see him at Arsenal or Chelsea, with Liverpool struggling for cash and still having Alonso.

USRoverME Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Sky Sports News are reporting that there was a 100 man brawl between rival fans at the West Ham v Columbus Crew game last night. Might have something to do with their reputation in the U.S after Green Street ?. Found a link. http://www.cbc.ca/sports/soccer/story/2008...wl-westham.html That report missed the reported point that the brawl was touched off when the WHam supporters started pouring their beers over the Crew supporters. Although in reality, the poor stewarding is the culprit. Its jsut a different mentailty here. Here its not uncommon for supporter "factions" of rival teams totailgate togehter outside the stadium before the game. Not sure their stewards knew enough to say "those guys are wearing west ham colors, better keep them out of this area."

rebelmswar Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 look at what harry missed out on, at the bottom http://www.setanta.com/en/Sport/News/Footb...britain-locale/ That must really make him mad. Maybe that's why he always looks like he just sniffed a turd.

I can see him at Arsenal or Chelsea, with Liverpool struggling for cash and still having Alonso. I'm not sure about all this fuss over Barry. Alonso is a far superior player anyway. It's like having a Merc and coveting the neighbour's Mondeo.
gumboots Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 I'm not sure about all this fuss over Barry. Alonso is a far superior player anyway. It's like having a Merc and coveting the neighbour's Mondeo. But alonso's not Stevie G's best mate.
b12_simon Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Hull striker Dean Windass will not be moving to Leeds as he wants "another crack at the Premier League". (BBC gossip pages) Blimey
alexanders Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 West Ham have completed the signing of Behrami for £5m . Might turn out to be a good addition at Upton Park. Behrami
67splitscreen Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 Maybe, an alternative to Robinson, as some on this board have touted him. http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=788373

Frisky Jim Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 West Ham have completed the signing of Behrami for £5m . Might turn out to be a good addition at Upton Park. Behrami Very good signing for West Ham, which is not something said too often about the Hammers.
JAL Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Very good signing for West Ham, which is not something said too often about the Hammers. When do we get some good signings after some of the dross we've been linked with.
Frisky Jim Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 When do we get some good signings after some of the dross we've been linked with. When Paul Ince finds his marbles.
rebelmswar Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Another ex Premiership club in the mire. Maybe they can ask LeTis for a loan.
USRoverME Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 AS in a Pub here in the states watching the West Ham - MLS all stars friendly. Good to See Lucas Neill in mid-season form... giving away a needless penalty for the 3rd (and deciding) MLS goal. West Ham looked dreadful in midfield. MLS team seemed to control the ball more, but clearly were nto a team as their link-ups were choppy. Ashton scored botrh for WHam and looked back in form, cooly sloting home a 1 v 1 chance, and scoring on a deflected shot from ~ 25 yards. which was really all I can remember WHam creating, I think there was one other free kick chances that required a save from the MLS.
67splitscreen Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Not the EPL, or Rovers related, I had to when I saw this one on a rumour board. God help you. HEARTS FC Hearts are interested in experienced forward Corrado Grabbi. He will meet with Mindaugas Nikolicius where it is hoped a deal can be concluded.
