Is Baines not being offered as a swap for Warnock?

Also don't agree with closing Nicko's thread guys - it's a valuable source of information and inside knowledge about Rovers few messageboards would be able to achieve. Kick off the perpetrators or you just give in to them.

City have bid £6m for Benayoun. I've always liked him, and I think he'd be a good replacement for Bentley. £6m is more than I'd like to pay, but if it's a choice between £6m for Pennant or for Benayoun, I'd want Yossi.

Hmm Pennant is a bit more direct. I think Benayoun is a good player but I feel he is more an inside-right rather than an out and out winger. And he is 28 or so isnt he? I could be wrong...

Benayoun is a superior player to Pennant and a far more reliable performer. On the rare occasions he got into the Liverpool side last year, he always did well. I'd be thrilled if we signed him.

What's amazing is the huge numbers of Spurs style 'ins & outs' going on at Liverpool.

Funny, never used to associate them with that amount of transfer flux.
