Barry is staying at Villa because they wont sell him, [if the latest story is right], not because of money.

And Rovers are easily able to do the same.

I don't think this one's over yet. He'll end up at Liverpool.

reports today says barry is very unhappy.

if he is anything like bentley, it must be terrible times for MoN. Bentley was always on the phone trying to force the deal, not training with the squad, but rather running by himself to stay fit. no wonder they let him go.

Now ronaldo will demand a move aswelll. we are not as bad off as we like to think

and villanueva is over the top excited to join us. whooo

According to the papers.

Ince has said Rovers fans will soon get over losing Bentley when they see Villaneuva in action - he also admits that some of the players have been watching his clips on youtube too!

Also apparently Moyes wants Warnock, and wants rid of Baines.

Is Baines not being offered as a swap for Warnock?

Also don't agree with closing Nicko's thread guys - it's a valuable source of information and inside knowledge about Rovers few messageboards would be able to achieve. Kick off the perpetrators or you just give in to them.

City have bid £6m for Benayoun. I've always liked him, and I think he'd be a good replacement for Bentley. £6m is more than I'd like to pay, but if it's a choice between £6m for Pennant or for Benayoun, I'd want Yossi.

Me too! And we should be able to pay 'cash'. ;)

btw. who is liverpools 1st right winger?? KUYT

SSN:

09.32 Andy Johnson's proposed move to Fulham has been delayed because of a hitch in the player's medical, skysports.com understands. As a result the West London club are believed to be keen to renegotiate terms of payment to Everton.

This is good news. This means:

a) Andy Johnson still remains an Everton player and the Toffees won't have as much money to spend on their tiny squad as perceived.

B) Andy Johnson goes to Fulham, but for lesser money than expected, which also will affect their wallet this transfer window.

Barton's 1st Statement

"The first day's the toughest, no doubt about it. They march you in, hand you your uniform and force you to pose for the photographer while loads of fat, tattooed, skinheads shout abuse at you. That's when you know it's for real. A whole life blown away in the blink of an eye. Nothing left but all the time in the world to think about it. That's when it hits home. That's when you realise you've signed for Newcastle"

Joey Barton.

This is the BBC's version of the EPL's coming and goings this close season.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/e...rem/7492070.stm

I'd be interested in any more accurate/bolder links in regard to fees etc...(rather than the ubiquitous usual list of 'undisclosed' fees)

What's amazing is the huge numbers of Spurs style 'ins & outs' going on at Liverpool.

Funny, never used to associate them with that amount of transfer flux.

I can't imagine any of the other top 4 oligarch's churning over so many players.
