I've also got a question for you. I once had the opportunity of a chat with Keegan, We discussed Shearer, BRFC among a few topics of conversation - BUT, who did Keegan rate as the most talented player that he had ever managed? [this was when he was managing Man City].

Knight's a disaster that makes Amoruso look like Maldini, Davies ditto. They're short of full backs and have a squad thiner than Ste's hair.

Oh and a second rate goalie from a second rate team ;)

Knight's bad but Curtis Davies will be a quality defender for years to come, imo.

Villa have a decent team but need Petrov to find his best form to become a top quality team. Young and Shorey will make them solid on the flanks.

Interesting post about Arsenal. Does anyone else think Adebayor is overrated in a way? Much like Cole of old, it seems for each goal, he has about 5-7 chances that he blows. (Am I allowed to talk about Arsenal on this thread?)

Really?

7 signings this summer, the whole tiny squad, no depth, in peril spin on things is getting a bit outdated.

Totally agree Flopsy, IMO Knight is a lanky streak of of hopelessness (I would use another word).

Can't think why MON brought him to Villa (other than the player is English)?

Insurance as the Curtis Davies deal was looking like it might not go through in time. Knight was the easiest quick transfer to make as he was always going to jump at the chance to join his life long supported club and would make less fuss sitting on a bench if Davies came.
