brfcshabba Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Maloney goes back to Celtic from Villa rather like Barry Ferguson. Another scottish player who didn't seem to be able to cut it in the Premiership

Veevs Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Berbatov left out of Spurs squad.. guess that transfer will finally happen..
brfcshabba Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 I don't know how many on each side on international duty, but Arsenal look very poor
rover6 Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 I'm a fan of Arsene Wenger, however, I'm glad Fulham beat them. Wenger is taking the pee by playing Eboue CM. He seems to think that he can play any old squad player in any old position and expect to win. Smell the coffee Wenger! BTW: Nice to see Bobby Zamora starting to prove that he is a talent and disprove the majority of people on this MB who have labelled him as crap.
Nelsta Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Schevchenko is goin back to Milan.30 million well spent.
Bobby G Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Abramovich had to try getting him otherwise he would have always regretted it. I think he got him 1 or 2 summers too late, or maybe he just wasnt made for the Premier League...We will find out this season and how he performs in Italy...
philipl Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Newcastle gave free drinks vouchers out yesterday but there were still 5000 empty seats.
RevidgeBlue Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Just saw this, is it true. SWP on the move Bugger. Missed out there. (If true.)

RevidgeBlue Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Chelsea have just scraped home a shade unconvincingly against Wigan 1-0.
DeadlyDirk Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Chelsea were turgid. Defiitely wasn't their greatest performance but they got the win I guess. I think Wigan are building a pretty good side. Ideal for these sort of games as they have a lot of strength and players with a lot of stamina. Heskey has had his critics but works so hard for his team, so do the likes of Palacios and Cattermole in midfield. Still Chelsea should be breaking them down easier than that!
ffan Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Regarding Stephen Ireland. I am watching the Hammers game and despite recently going through with a hair transplant Ireland has shaved his head and is as bald as a babys arse. Also he has a pink 4 by 4.
roversmum Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Looks as if he has escaped from a flying saucer. Drat! City have scored. 1-0. Can't see West Ham breaking though especially as they've only got ten men. 2-0 City :/
Ronin Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Make that 3-0 now. Plus they're saying that Micah Richards has had to go to hospital for checks on his head injury.

Only just tuned in towards the end but good to see Lucash "I need yet another new deal" Neill surpassed even his limited powers of defending with Citeh's third!
Baggio Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Newcastle gave free drinks vouchers out yesterday but there were still 5000 empty seats. That's for people already with a season ticket and if you get in the ground before 2.10, done it now and again last season too.

BTW: Nice to see Bobby Zamora starting to prove that he is a talent and disprove the majority of people on this MB who have labelled him as crap. The whole situation at Arsenal is a joke. One of the world's richest clubs and with a board willing to spend money, yet the manager's snooty, blinkered vision that any old talented youngster can deliver you success and a midfield partnership of Emmanuel Eboue and Denilson will suffice is preposterous. Talk about a bunch of losers.
benlloninho Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 I watched the Arsenal-Fulham game yesterday. That was the worst Arsenal team I've seen. Ever. (Get to see more Arsenal matches than Rovers over here.) Rovers would have beaten them handily, Mokoena would have got a hattrick. Okay, not really, but they played terribly and Fulham were easily the better team.

Still got more creativity in his little toe than most of our midfielders sadly.
brian_gallagher85 Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Yeah, I believe that he used it to make up that story about his grans a while back too.
The1mattjansen Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 £8m for Anton Ferdinand!!! Just when will Sunderland stop?
