philipl Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Daddy Gaydamak Daddy Gaydamak again Daddy Gaydamak closer to home I guess City caught Pompey in some of the same sort of turmoil that Boro caught City in when they spanked 8 past them last season. Incidentally whilst the headline writers get their book of puns out over City's supposed interest in Ronaldo, the real scrap will be over Tevez with Man U not exactly in a position to turn the loan into a permanent deal after paying £10m more than they had budgeted for Berbatov.

1864roverite Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Hull sign another Bolton reject in Stelios on a freebie. On the Spurs front, rumours for the press suggest an altercation between jenas and bentley who were allegedly seprated by Huddlestone !
vintageadidas Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 I hate Man City and all there stupid fans. Blah Blah Blah - hope you fail. I hope we get some cash soon, Newcastle for sale at £400m, they could buy us and have £350m to spend on players.

Stuart Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 Nigerians have £350 million to buy Newcastle Ashley must have got one of those emails. All he now needs to do is send £20M in order to facilitate release of the cash...!
grizfoot Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 From Sunday's game, balloon makes RFW jump.
thenodrog Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 On the Spurs front, rumours for the press suggest an altercation between jenas and bentley who were allegedly seprated by Huddlestone ! Kinell... that would be 'handbags'! Jenas is overrated, Bentley is in danger of joining him.
JC4LAB Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Comments from Rooney this week were that Man Us bad start was due to tough games but the next few are easy ..That's us I assume ..
Amo Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 @grizfoot - Balloons scare the hell out of me too. I did read a good article in the Mirror that United are actually missing Carlos Queiroz more than people think. They coincide his previous return to the club with them overtaking Chelsea, as well as being in touch with a lot of the players whilst Fergie is getting on a bit.

Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 From Sunday's game, balloon makes RFW jump. That is brilliant.
Billy Castell Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 It's Spanish football, but worth putting somewhere here. What an odd story.
BuckyRover Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Chelsea sign 33 yrd old free agent What is Big Phil thinking signing an old player who doesn't even have a club?
LeChuck Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Replacing a player who got injured outside of the transfer window. Just like the Djorkaeff move, it bears absolutely no resemblance to any of Ince's signings.
Exiled_Rover Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 Replacing a player who got injured outside of the transfer window. Just like the Djorkaeff move, it bears absolutely no resemblance to any of Ince's signings. Plus, he's Brazilian. They're always good!
BuckyRover Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 I know. Ince signed all the central midfielders he needed in the transfer window. We are ravaged by injuries yet we didn't need Mineiro
neekoy Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 I know. Ince signed all the central midfielders he needed in the transfer window. We are ravaged by injuries yet we didn't need Mineiro He maybe OK for a club like Chelsea but we really needed some impact in our midfeild like Andrews brings us
CrazyIvan Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 I know. Ince signed all the central midfielders he needed in the transfer window. We are ravaged by injuries yet we didn't need Mineiro So Chelsea signing a player is another stick to beat Ince with? Give it a rest...
Hughesy Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Has Appiah signed for anyone yet? Or whats happened to that right winger we had in on trial who got released from his club?

Even those desperate to turn every single sporting story in to positive Ince spin can't stay on the same page Replacing a player who got injured outside of the transfer window. Just like the Djorkaeff move, it bears absolutely no resemblance to any of Ince's signings. Correct. Again. I'm still waiting to see your name mentioned as part of the "Anti Ince Brigade", but I'm sure it's not far off.

I'm still waiting to see your name mentioned as part of the "Anti Ince Brigade", but I'm sure it's not far off. You now resort to personal attacks because you know you can't attack Ince, he is doing too well. :-) But of course you are happy to be proved wrong!
T4E Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 I could attack Ince. I wont, because he's won his last two games and there's no need to. Of course, if I attacked Ince, you'd be all over it. I'm not attacking Ince, yet you're still all over it. Do you actually know what it is you're arguing for/against?
