thenodrog Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 43% Bolton supporters come to outside Bolton. Hmmm... Is this really true? Perhaps they are referring to Horwich.
thenodrog Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 mmm not quite correct there American, Ince is the Blackburn Rovers manager, to judge him on things which have NOTHING to do with Rovers, (team selection, transfers, etc- which is the standard criteria) is thus being prejudiced against him and being unfair to him. I see............ Have I got this right. You want to turn us all into sheep. Take some advice imy .....continually accusing people that you do not know of prejudice, bigotry or racism is deemed provocative and usually has an inflammatory effect because of the odd social rules that we have moved toward since mass immigration. Conversely as we move to an ever more liberal society the once great democratic principle of freedom of speech that I was brought up under is unfortunately long gone. Weird huh? Take a tip and drop the above terms and replace them all with the word 'bias or biased'. It means much the same and you'll even be able to show your face at the Christmas do.
American Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 "any preconceived opinion or feeling, either favorable or unfavorable." Does that help you begin? Again, it isn't preconceived. He has reasons throughout the years to not like the man's character. For someone so condescending, you really are a moron.
imy9 Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Again, it isn't preconceived. He has reasons throughout the years to not like the man's character. What reasons are associated with the job he is doing at Rovers? Nothing at all. Ince has now won 3 games on the bounce, his opinion about Ince being our manager has not changed and will not change, that is being prejudiced. Have I insulted you? You can say what you like but IMO people are less inclined to listen to your opinion. Gord- you can say what you like, prejudice is prejudice, racism is racism, bias is bias, IMO use the correct word at the right time. If someone uses a racist term, can I say it is racist without it being deemed inflammatory by you? You a sheep? Never... but then neither am I. As of now I will now stop talking about this, we have won again and I do not want to be associated with anything negative.
Nelsta Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Intresting disscusions going on on TalkSport, Stan Collymore is calling Ronaldo a cheat for another blatant dive today and the pathetic excuses of why from the Cockney reds is just laughable...One excuse was because Ronaldo isnt fully fit and if he things he's going to get hurt he should just go down and avoid injury.
imy9 Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 how can that be a pen, the player got the ball?!
1864roverite Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 manure were at home, why do you think they got a penalty not too mention it was Rob Styles I beleive who reffed them.
imy9 Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 There is a poor decision and a blatantly ridiculous decision, refs have had a nightmare 2 weeks, with that mysterious goal in the Reading game too.
Nelsta Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 The Red Scum will not have it that Ronaldo is a cheat. Apprently they are saying it's the Refs fault and Ronaldo is blamless. Another excuse is Ronaldo gets kicked all the time and dosnt bat an eyelid, So we should just turn the other cheek when he goes down a tad easy.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 For once, he didn't dive. He didn't appeal. He didn't even look at the referee. He just slid down when the ball went away, like most people do, I don't think he even though he'd get it. Styles just gave it. The ball was won.

Ronaldo hardly celebrated the goal. I think he'd realised that he's in for some serious flak again.
Blue blood Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 I wonder if Stiles will be demoted for a few weeks? Ronaldo hardly celebrated the goal. I think he'd realised that he's in for some serious flak again. Firstly if Styles isn't demoted at least for a couple of weeks then I'll be extremely disappointed. Like the reading game these are mistakes which simply should not be happening. In any other job this would be considered negligence and would be a warning. I know refs are human and will get decisions wrong but there seem to be an increasing number and of worsening severity. United have always got the rub of the green, and big club bias is something that really puts me off the game - perhaps even more than the obscene wages. As for Ronaldo - like he cares what people will say.
brfcshabba Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 2-1 to Hull Maybe the point wasn't so bad after all..
Tim Southampton Rover Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 2-1 to Hull against Arsenal at The Emirates after 66 minutes. Makes our 1-1 at home seem pretty good now! Jinx!
brfcshabba Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Arsenal are very frustrating to watch in their build up play. Nobody wants to shoot
Tim Southampton Rover Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Got a feeling they'll scrape a 2-2 draw with a last minute goal as usual!
Doaksie Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Match of the Day running order Saturday 27th Sept 10.05pm tonight Newcastle v Blackburn Manchester United v Bolton Stoke City v Chelsea Everton v Liverpool Aston Villa v Sunderland Middlesbrough v West Brom Fulham v West Ham Blackburn first up. Strange.
brfcshabba Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Blackburn first up. Strange. Wouldn't surprise me if Arsenal was first if it stays the same scorewise
Tim Southampton Rover Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Fantastic save at the end by the Hull keeper.... 2 minutes to go
thenodrog Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Great result for Hull which immedietely drops us to 7th place! Arsenal are turning into a Jekyll and Hyde club! Pity we played the wrong one! Just to add some perspective...... Arsenal fans are booing their team!
Doaksie Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Wouldn't surprise me if Arsenal was first if it stays the same scorewise Hope not, heading out about 20 to 11. Would be nice to be the main game, albeit if it's because our opponents run a circus!
Tim Southampton Rover Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Fantastic win. Although Hull go above us, that was a fantastic win. Fair play to them, they've certainly sent a message out to everyone to say they won't be walkovers.

BBC commentator just revealed that Hull have already equalled Derby's points total from last season.
Presty On Tour Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 2-1 FT! Unbelievable result for Hull.
