It's also good to see Arsene Wenger pretty pee'd off! Always a great sight.

Naah, I would have preferred Spurs getting spanked. Especially now they've got Harry 'My Word Means Jack ######' Redknapp in charge.

We're 8 behind 5th, and once United win their game in hand it'll be 9, which may as well be 10 given their goal difference and ours.

7pts behind the top 5 and 5 behind united who have a game in hand. Not very good considering the talent they have on their books.

Uncomfortably near the bottom.

Last time we won was against an appalling Newcastle.

I would expect us to beat a very poor WBA. We need to.

At Stoke, the fans stand up when they get a throw in.

Such an unusual but effective weapon.

That one tonight was as good as any Beckham corner kick. Why has Delap made it to the latter part of his career without anyone else realising he can do this?!

Looks like today will be the day when the "Big 4" ascend to occupy the top 4 places in the league. I'd be surprised if that changes again between now and May.

What a boring, uninteresting, money-polluted procession this league has become. I really wish I didn't care about it, its quite clearly not worth the effort.

Boring? Did you not watch Arsenal VS Spurs?

Uninteresting? The mid-week action was great, cracking goals, silky skills and the odd howler here and there. I really enjoyed watching MOTD on wednesday night and i'm sure many others did aswell.

Money- polluted - Well you could say that but without the money we wouldn't have the same type of entertainment now would we?

You love it really :P

You should not allow one entertaining game to fool you - the top 4 league places (the only ones worth finishing in) are a foregone conclusion for another season, and we've only just entered November.

Is that what you thought when Everton finished 4th a few seasons back and when Spurs were 90 mins away from finishing in 4th?

Thats the basis of your argument? Everton finishing 4th 4 seasons ago, and Spurs putting up a valiant fight, only for the usual 4 to end up in those positions anyway? Not even paperthin.

If you don't think it's a boring procession then thats great, you'll continue to enjoy it. I know it is, therefore I don't.

If you don't enjoy it why continue to follow it? I'm sure there is a load of other sports you could turn your attention to.

If I don't enjoy something I don't do it (other than work, but I get paid for that so I won't complain :P). I'm sure others are the same.

If you have to ask that then you clearly don't understand what it means to follow a team - there's no bigger gluttons for punishment than football fans!

You follow a team that plays football in a league that you don't enjoy. So my question still stands, why do something you don't enjoy?

Addiction of course.
