 4 goals against Birmingham, 4 against COVENTRY, 5 against Wigan. Yeah im sure your right.:huh:

That's such a stupid post Hughesy.

At the moment we have the worst defensive record in the league. Over the last four games we have averaged two goals conceded per game.

None of this happened under Hughes, the defensive has unquestionably gotten worse. Cherry picking three results out of a season of 50-ish games doesn't form the basis of a logical argument.

Oh, and by the way, the smilies on serve to make you look ridiculous, not the person you're quoting. Especially when what you're saying is wrong.

...or should that be 'what your saying'?

What anti-Hughes crowd????? Name them - show us this crowd.

I don't think you'll ever find an anti-Hughes crowd made up of Rovers fans, he was a good manager for us.

"Anti-Hughes" is a bit of a misleading term but there's a fairly sizeable thread made by graham with various inaccurate assessments of his achievements for us, especially last season.

Never thought I'd see the day a fella goes out playing in pink boots.

Think Bendtner might leave them in the locker from now on.

You have to be as good as Pele and as hard as Gentile to get away with pink boots. Sadly for Arsenal Bendtner was rubbish and Arsenal can now be written off as title contenders.

And I don't know how they do it, but Hull are keeping going.

I think Hull will be safe but West Brom and Stoke will both be down or around the bottom till the end of the season.

Cant see Spurs sticking around for much longer, and Newcastle are getting points on the board, which means its going to be one hell of a close one to nail down 3 teams to go down...

For the first time in I don't know how long, I reacted with complete shock when I saw the Premier League football results last night.

What a really pleasant change although I don't know what sort of 0-0s the three 0-0 draws were- dire or thrill a minute with goalies on top.

It struck me that with the way the table is at the moment, every team has something of enormous importance to play for.

Liverpool and Chelsea have been separated only by goal difference for weeks now.

The Mancs are waking up to the fact that the gap up to the league title is persistent and a bit big for comfort whilst in reality they are currently in a three way tussle with Villa and Arsenal to avoid the UEFA Cup next season but also to avoid 4th place which throws up a horrible route into the CL in the new format next season.

The rest of the division sees UEFA if they look up and relegation if they look down and apart from the Baggies no really obvious drop candidates sitting where they "should" be.

It seems to be producing games of unprecedented intensity as every club is desperate for every point and the element of "routine Premier League" games seems at the moment to be non-existant.

This is going to put far more pressure on the front runners as their opponents are going to give it much more of a go than in the past. It also makes the League a huge amount more dangerous for the Rovers whilst faffing around with line-ups and Ince's learning curve.
