LeChuck Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Wigan are 1 up, if they win we are going to be further adrift from safety. I was thinking the same. Also, realistically, Tottenham and Newcastle aren't going to be down there much longer.

tony gale's mic Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 This has been our worst weekend for a long time.
philipl Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 The thing that strikes me is that the Newcastle revival has been going on a long time and they got a fantastic point at Chelsea yet they are still in the bottom 3. Stoke are 4 points ahead of us. Getting out of the relegation mire is going to be a long hard business and we need to start that process immediately.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Stoke city are providing free transport to Ewood for their fans...they expect to sell the full 7,000 allocation for the December game. Good coin for Rovers but another home match where its going to feel like we're the away team.
Blue blood Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Thing is SG- we really need the money. Don't think it'll be that bad tbh. By then Ince will have either started to turn things round or he will have been sacked, which should bring a fair few fans back with renewed optimism.
vintageadidas Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 God 7,000 Stoke Fans, batten down the hatches.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Not the nicest fans around Vintage eh...I think every time we played them in the 80's/90's there'd been some mither!
vintageadidas Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Not the way i would put it SG, i would use the word Tw*ts. They will smash the town up just like United, Liverpool and Newcastle do.
dopper69 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Stoke city are providing free transport to Ewood for their fans...they expect to sell the full 7,000 allocation for the December game. Good coin for Rovers but another home match where its going to feel like we're the away team. Reading the local paper today and it reckons they are putting on 140 buses for 7000 people. If Stoke take 7000 people I will personally eat my hat. With a spoon. Made from nettles. The fact that this would be Stoke City's 2nd biggest away crowd (behind there trip to the millenium stadium a few years ago) puts it into perspective. Saying that, I will be at this game, in the JW Stand of course. Just hope some Stokies dont do my car in on the way back!
Rovermatt Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 With 3 points in the bank they'll most likely be in a good mood.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Joe Kinnear's signed on with the Geordies for the rest of the season. There goes another possible life line.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Sunderland 1-1 Bolton now. What are the best results for us? Aston Villa beat Fulham Boro beat Newcastle Hull beat Stoke Bolton and Sunderland draw Wigan and West Brom draw or Wigan win. And now it's Sunderland 1-2 Bolton. Dingles are 3-0 up already...sigh.
cn174 Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Don't think Sunderland vs Bolton will be a draw. Is 3-1 to Bolton now.
Sandiway Blue Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 West brom 1-0 up. Rovers now bottom of the Premiership.
roverfanuk Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Sunderland (who beat us at home 2-1) 1 - 4 Bolton
PAFELL Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 West brom 1-0 up. Rovers now bottom of the Premiership. 1-1 now
philipl Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 "The reason the league is so close this season? The team bottom of the league (no matter who it is) does not think it is going to go down." Fair comment on 606- let's see how we react to 20th place? West Brom have reacted for us and conceded a keystone cops goal.
BRFC1995 Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 We are bottom of the league, say we are bottom of the league..........everyone keeps saying anyone can beat anyone on the day in the league, i presume they exclude us from this, bolton doing away to sunderland what we should have done at home. Altogether now..going down going down going down..... The garbage some pundits spout about managers getting the boot is starting to wind me up, i really wish they'd stop it with the word sympathy........they get payed off in the millions for being cack. I'd really like to think that ince will struggle to sleep tonite with us being bottom but he won't....................absolute racing certainty that 0 pts from the next 2 matches will result in the bullet for ince now, 11 games without a win and i don't care if your dads the chairman you are gone. thank jebus wigan scored, europe here we come
Mr. E Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Sunderland (who beat us at home 2-1) 1 - 4 Bolton honestly, it's getting hard to show our faces on the streets now.
