AggyBlue Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Utter rubbish. Where's Gamst, Bentley and Mcarthy? Someone wake Emerton up I've never seen so much panic in defence for years, who are we playing? Don't think I'll bother watching the second half. I'm well pi$$ed off, who wants a smack in't teeth?

brfc fan Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 HALF-TIME Some sort of relief. Maybe Hughes can inspire them.
G Somerset Rover Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Back to earth with a bang so far. Some people need to realise that we're not world beaters and that we do have to turn up to actually get results-particularly in Europe where we don't know much about the teams we're playing. Finally the importance to the side of Samba cannot be underestimated.
Mr. E Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Nightmare. Larissa have looked very lively, and their first goal was a good one...but the second was just tragic defending, one of the worst goals I've seen us give for years. Also we aren't really creating anything and are just sailing balls into the keeper's arms. Hughes needs to rip them a new one at HT and we need to get back into this in the 2nd half, because this is just embarrassing.
modes98 Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Shocking defending on both goals. Thank god we don't play like this in the premiership. I think we're missing samba badly. Sparky really needs to pull a trick out of the bag on this one of the greeks will be very confident coming to ewood and we will have no choice but to go for it. I'd imagine Tugay will be brought on to bring some passing ability into the game and maybe Derbs later on for the ability to get goals when we need them. MGP very disappointing.
tonygreenbank Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I wish the commentators would shut up about how poor Larissa are. They look quite lively to me. The pitch is appalling but we have to get at least one goal here. Dunny and savage are poor and no service to the front two.
G Somerset Rover Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 MGP very disappointing. When isn't he? I've defended him time and time again but the reality is that when his goals dry up (when was his last one?!) he is pretty damn average.
yellowsubmarine Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 MGP very disappointing. He has been so far this season.
Tris Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Don't bother flicking over to the cricket if you want cheering up  (although at least they've cut the grass at The Oval this month)
Texan Rover Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Let's everybody just relax here for a second. It's 45 minutes of football. There's another 135 before anything happens yet, and another 45 today. Get one or two back in the second half and we'll be looking good for the home leg. It's obviously disappointing to come out poorly when expectations are high, but it beats low expectations any day, don't it?
USRoverME Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Okay, if we need a positive note... we've had chances, we've sailed a lot ofpoor balls into the area, if those balls become quality balls, we can still tie or win this one, easily in fact. We need to start well, and an early second half goal should deflate them and give us the chance to get back in. I know doom and gloom is easy for us, so I had to try and counter-act it....
Finch Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Flamin Nora! I come home to watch the 2nd half only to find we have shipped 2 goals. I love Brad, we all do, but what was he thinking? Beer open, 2nd half about to start. COME ON THE ROVERS!
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 The first half has been a complete comedy of errors....we've simply not turned up!
brfc fan Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 It could have something to do with the weather, it is 30 degrees.

92er Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Commentators think Nelsen might have done his hamstring. Zurab coming on.
Tris Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Set pieces have been abysmal, mainly from Bentley. Wasted. Now it looks like Nelsen has done a hamstring. Oh dear.
