Alan75 Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 M&S Recalled To Lead Attack Rovers manager Mark Hughes is expected to revert to the M&S (McCarthy & Santa) partnership to lead the attack against Man City tomorrow and Robbie Savage and David Dunn will return to replace Tugay and Mokoena in midfield, whilst Chris Samba, recovering from illness, will replace Ooijer in the middle of the defence. With City rejuvenated under Sven, a near capacity crowd is expected at Ewood Park, that should generate an electric atmosphere as Rovers attempt to continue their unbeaten run in what was, before boundary changes, a Lancashire derby. The 2-0 UEFA Cup win against MyPa was no more that a pre-season friendly, when Rovers didn’t need to break sweat, however the players will need to be on top form for tomorrow’s clash against a team sitting behind Chelsea at the top of the premiership.
