lockers Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 This was off of a Yeovil Town fan, when i was sticking up for Rovers style against, yes you guessed it, and Arsenal fan. "Blackburn are a battling team which is what makes them so hard to beat. there physical approach is a very british style of play which not a lot of teams play now due to the influx in foreigners. I like watching blackburn play you always see 100% from the players and with some great signings in the last 2 seasons theres no reason they cant challenge the BIG 4 in the next couple years. Tugay - Possibly one of the best passers of the ball i've seen live. Saw Villa v Blackburn in the FA cup 3rd round years ago and he played 2 slide rule passes that put Yorke in for a double at the holt end much to every villa fan's disgust!"

Bazzanotsogreat Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Nice of the Gruniad Nice article, realy bring home what a cracking job king kenny did ( albeit with uncle Jack's help)
Flopsy Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Kenny blended great, good and average players into a great team. With a lot of Bottle
philipl Posted September 27, 2007 Author Posted September 27, 2007 Very good article, well written and balanced. It neatly anticipates the snipers. Glad he mentioned the attrocious refereeing decisions in the two Manc games. Had those been a win and a draw for the Rovers as they should have been by rights, we would have won it by 10 points.
blue/white Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Nice of the Gruniad Ugh, sorry about that then.
Hypo-Luxa Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Saw this in the article(nice read by the way), "Though he may never have led cops on a wild goose chase to protect a fugitive dog..." What's that about then?
