bluebruce Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Setanta. The only channel I don't already subscribe to, and can't get to a pub showing it. Just brilliant. I'd suggest subscribing to it then...they're the only buggers that show us now!

Cocker Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 If you can get here from the Isle of Man Cocker, you would be very welcome my dear chap. Ha Ha, I bet it would still be a shock me knocking on your door with a case of beers to watch the match. Anyway, everyone else get yourselves over to the Rovers House Party and stick the pics up in the gallery - peanuts and (Tom) pringles not provided
Liam0001 Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Anyone watching the game in Manchester? Me and my mates after going to our first subject meetings are going to find somewhere that has Setanta (Which should basically be everywhere) and demand for Rovers to be shown which I'm sure it will. The chances of at least one pub in Manchester showing the game are high. Think we might nip across to the union or a yellow card pub. Happy days.
thecomebackid Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 watch online mum!!! Tried this option on the previous occassion against MYPA, without success.
Dingle Basher Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Working tommorow night untill 10 . Really considering getting Setanta but i'm already paying about £60 a month for sky + including (movies and sports) & multiroom. Does anybody think most of our European games are going to be on Setanta this season? (presuming we go through)
Dan Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 For any Manchester based Rovers, does anyone remember the girl that ran a pub near Oxford road? There was supposed to be a meet up there for the FA Cup game. Think it was called the Lass o something. Maybe worth looking through the achieves and finding that thread I only know one pub near me that has sultana, I'll give them a ring early afternoon, if they aren't open it'll be a trip to Manchester

pksrover Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 the game will be on in most pubs in manchester, cos most of them got setanta. I'm gonna be in the oxford or varsity near MRI

Yes it is on there. Good boozer; I was there for 3 hours on Tues night: enjoyed seeing Celtic loosing.
Robertson Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Be watching this at home, glad its on!!! Just had a knee op so is going to be football overload the next few weeks - downside being I miss a few games at Ewood
Finch Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Did a search for this game on tv about 2 weeks ago. Came up with nada! Was going to have the afternoon off had it been on. So now I'm working (well surfing and working, you know how it is) and I just found out that it's on Sultana Sports!!! Which means I'm going to miss it when I could have been at home, beer in hand.. enjoying seeing the Rovers on TV. Should get home for the 2nd half, but still..... (Didn't even know Sultana were showing Waffa cup games)

Presty On Tour Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 been down the bookies on my lunch break, i got £5 on bolton, everton, blackburn and tottenham to win tonight in an accum bet. returns £21.38
Beta Ray Bill Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 If anyone is interested, the 2nd leg isn't currently listed for any channels but I guess this might change. However, Setanta is unlikely as they are showing the prestigious Woking vs Farsley Celtic match.
Ronin Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Just had a quick browse on Setanta and the 1st leg is repeated on Setanta 2 at 2am. Will miss it live as I'm working so may catch the repeat.
Hanks Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 signed up for setanta this morning, now its tea in't oven, dog for an early walk, the school run and hope the channel does not crash like it did in the local club for the mypa game.
BuckyRover Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 If you have Sky and want Setanta do you just ring Sky and get it added to the bill? Or do you have to pay Setanta seperately?
brian_gallagher85 Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 You need to ring Setanta and pay seperately
pksrover Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 The Lass O'Gowrie just off Princess Street. Yes it is on there. Good boozer; I was there for 3 hours on Tues night: enjoyed seeing Celtic loosing. I've been to The Oxford (next to the hospital along oxford road) and they said they'll show the match. So I will probably there from 15.45pm onwards!
Mark Atkins' Bald Patch Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 You need to ring Setanta and pay seperately Or do it via the website (www.setanta.com) it's very easy, all you need is your sky viewing card and bank details. If you do it now you'll have a chance of getting it on for kick off I'd reckon. There's a £10 setup charge though ... so your first month will be £20.
