I'm not really counting a game against Mypa, as good as they were. Whilst our clean sheet against Chelsea was slightly fortunate.

Well I don't really see a point in giving ourselves a pat on the back for a clean sheet against a small team in Europe. In league games we've kept 2 and in one of those a goal was wrongly disallowed.

We will have to play well to get anything out of this game.

this is worrying. we sound resigned to losing today. Hughes really needs to fire up the engine at HT because we're quickly losing our confidence and grip on the games.

Rovers had 58% posession but Pompey leading 5-1 on shots on target. We have only committed 2 fouls as well whereas Pompey have been snapping into us.

The problem is ( and thought this before the start of the season ) is that we lack pace an outlet and don’t have any alternative to Bentley or MGP who have both started the season poorly IMO

Our lack of goals is worrying. Were not even having many chances in matches right now.

Bentley and MGP are playing well so far in this game. Dunn and Savage are being overwhelmed by three big men in the centre of the park. Harry's 4-5-1 is working because for once Kanu is shooting on target.

I was so excited about our set pieces before the season, but they've been a let-down in virtually every game so far.

honeymoon period is officially over. I'm not sure what fell apart these last 2 games, but we certainly have played well under our capabilities.
