Eddie Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 I'm sure that between foreign tv, radio rovers and the text updates on various websites that everyone will have at least basic stuff.

Tim Southampton Rover Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Tottenham appeals handball in area but nothing given.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Bentley curls one 5 yards past the post. Good play from Rovers!
Tim Southampton Rover Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Brad keeping us into this game with 2 vital saves in the last couple of mins.
Cocker Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 God this is shocking. How are we not loosing (Brad is the answer to that) they have so much space
Tim Southampton Rover Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Hopefully see a different Rovers side second half. We don't look the same lively side as we did against Reading.
Cocker Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Sav injured No he's ok If we get anything here it will be a miracle (Dunny has got a number 0 haircut by the way - and a yellow card)
Eddie Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 No he's not, he's off and Mokoena is on. Don't know why we don't bring MGP on and push Dunn into the middle.

tony gale's mic Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 started well, since then we've been rubbish. given them too much space, given the ball away too much and looked a bit dodgy at the back. thank god for brad.
budha Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 No he's not, he's off and Mokoena is on. Don't know why we don't bring MGP on and push Dunn into the middle. Cause we're after a draw, not win.
philipl Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 I guess that dumb booking for David Dunn when he needlessly kicked the ball away just before Sav went off meant that Hughes could not risk him playing centrally. HT
Mr. E Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 We're gonna get beat like this. Spurs have decided to play good football again, and we can't get the ball at the moment. Friedel and Bentley have been our best so far. Another good talk needed by Hughes.
modes98 Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Very lively start from rovers and we should have really created more. A few scattered chances in between the spurs play and the odd chance. Hopefully spurs get tired in the second half after the european adventure and rovers can step it up a level. I agree that the sub is a negative one and i would have preferred the width that MGP would offer us.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 I thought it was for the shirt pull, not the kicking away? First 5-10 minutes we nearly scored 3 times and looked Arsenalesque. Then we went crap again.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 I reckon we'll come out and have a good second half. Hopefully the team talk at HT will be a kick up the arse style talk and we'll come out flying. Normally if we are playing great at WHL, we tend to lose so let's hope this is a different approach!
Flopsy Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 maybe hughes thinks that as we're getting overrun a bit that a defensive midfielder who tackles is better than two attack minded midfielders, who cant. MGP to come on with 20 minutes to go. I'd prefer 30 minutes but Hughes doesnt like to give subs chance to get in the game
