Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Hopefully playing Mokoena will mean pushing Bentley and MGP upfront more to have 4 in attack and letting Moko and Sav sit in the centre

Cocker Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Youve got to be ******* kidding me Mokoena for Dunn. I know he's injured but get Roberts on!! I know, its the football equivalent to throwing in the towel in Boxing, BENNI MAC - STOP BEING A PUSSY AND GO FOR A HEADER
philipl Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Samba was so far out of position as to be ridiculous. Two games four goals scored by a forward having a straight run through the middle of our defence unchallenged.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 MGP is now the last person I want the ball to fall to outside the box. Previous seasons he'd have been my favourite. That shot summed up his season so far in my opinion.
Backroom DE. Posted December 18, 2007 Backroom Posted December 18, 2007 Santa Cruz can score as many as he likes, with a defence like that it won't be enough. What's happened to Samba? 15 minutes left, we can still do it... to lose against a 10 man arsenal reserve team (a very very good reserve team, but second string nonetheless) is far from a confidence boost, no matter how well we played against said reserves in the 2nd half.
Nelsta Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 c'mon rovers all or nothing now....just bloody go for it.
bubblerrovers Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Never thought i'd say this but we really need another defender come Jan, we'll do a Norwich i carry on defending like this
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I would have booked Bentley then for diving. No need for it.
1864roverite Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Nelsen wasnt out of position, REID was. If Reid had watched the line then Eduardo would have been offside. Yet another poor first half ! (Where have we seen that before). The next 15 minutes defines our season I am afraid.
Exiled_Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 You don't deserve to win when you concede three soft goals. Where's our defence gone this season?
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Freekick just outside the area Come on MGP! This could kick start your season!
philipl Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Three QFs, looks like 3 away wins (Spurs won 2-0 at City).
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Freekick just outside the area Come on MGP! This could kick start your season! So closeeee Great height and pace on the ball. We need to go for it.... Shove Samba up there in last 5 mins or so if we're still behind.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Here comes all the time wasting now....
mrsjansen Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Get Friedal and Samba up there. Hell get Hughes up there for christs sake.
Nelsta Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 unlucky samba.....guess ya better upfront than in defence.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 ahhh so close there! i hope the ref goes back and books that player for that awful lunge
mrsjansen Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I think im falling out of love with this game"!!!!!
Exiled_Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Another pathetic result. Hughes really needs to turn this shocking run of form around.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Jekyll and Hyde syndrome cost us. We were 2 different teams today and kept switching between the two throughout the game and were punished. Arsenal were the better team overall and to be fair to them they deserve to go through.
