Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 You're not even being funny in the circumstances, so please hush. Goal! J'aime Dan!

philipl Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 We only had two players offside when the pass was played to set up the cross for the goal! Come on Rovers, we can win this if the defense gets its heads together.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Hopefully Hughesy can produce the goods in the dressing room.
Jimmy Jupiter Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 If you comparing this to the Villa or Wigan games, this is nothing like the Villa or Wigan games. Actually i'm referring to what Hughes might call it.
G Somerset Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I reckon Roberts is made for this game. They're a young defence who won't be used to his kind of style, and I bet he can ruffle up Senderos just as Drogba has done in the past.
Presty On Tour Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 hughes better blow their ###### heads off!! pedersen has been our best player and thats a statement!! what the (Please don't use that word again) is going on, i want to see blood n sweat in the 2nd half lets put these kids to bed
Rover Down Under Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Took 27 minutes to have a shot on goal! What a horrible mistake Samba, please NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! We scored from an offside position! Well we've been awarded 4 offside goals against us in the last few games so as far as I'm concerned we're still owed three before things "even out", lovely pass by Derbs though. There are some weaknesses we can exploit in this Arsenal side - namely pineapple head and down the right, Gamst needs replacing first though, totally ineffectual again.
1864roverite Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Lets be perfectly honest with ourselves before the second half starts. Rovers are extremely lucky to be 1-2 down and still in with a chance in this game. Arsenals midfield has walked all over ours. Their young forwards are pulling the defence all over and our wingers and midfield are not creating any decent chances. Does that remind you of a game earlier this season? When we played Arsenal at home, that is how we played to stop them in their tracks, now its tables turned but they have already scored 2 ! The second half should be interesting, it can be an all out attacking Rovers game, a 0-0 stalemate as Arsenal just cancel out any Rovers attack whilst they just sit in their half or Arsenal will come out and blow us away again.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Great tempo to the 2nd half by us. This is how we should have played in the first 45 minutes!
Alex Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Great tempo to the 2nd half by us. This is how we should have played in the first 45 minutes! Can only be after a roasting (oo-er) by Hughes. This is more like it.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 How did that stay out then! ahh
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Great block there! That could have ended the game then!
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 RSC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU BEAUTY!!!!!!!!
Poita Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 argh!!!!! so close. We are looking good here. Hopefully we can maintain this good start to the second half and take it into sundays game against chelski. Its a bit worrying about our back four though. Friedel must be ###### (Hell YEAH) 2-2 Wooooooooooooooooooooot
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 We can go on and win this now. We are playing great this half.
Nelsta Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 keep it tight for the next few mins now rovers
Exiled_Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Different team in the second half. We've not seen this type fo commitment and tempo for weeks. This Santa Cruz bloke's quite useful isn't he.
