Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 5 goals in 1.5 games - that makes him the best striker in the world on current form!

Lurid Coat Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 'cking hell, even Gamst is working his ass off and completing passes now!
Cocker Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Think I would take derbs off now. Maybe Roberts on for him. Bentley back on right (yes yes, I know we are playing better since the formation change but derbs dosnt look right on the wing
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I'd probably bring Benni on as he can adapt well to this formation as well as the normal 4-4-2. When Benni played against Pompey in the last round, he was superb when dropping off in midfield. We are a total different team this half which just shows that it's all mental issues and not physical.
Daremz Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Roque could have made himself a double hattrick hero within 3 days. Unique chance. Shame. But we'll forgive him.
Poita Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 geez this game really is a turn around A red card and its not a rover
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Denilson sent off Arsenal = VIOLENT FOOTBALL!
Oklahoma Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Will it go to overtime? if in the end of the 30 minutes it's still a draw, penalties?
rebelmswar Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Will it go to overtime? if in the end of the 30 minutes it's still a draw, penalties? We WILL NOT win if it goes to penatlties
Cocker Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 What the hell was sav booked for? I would be tempted to take him off. Put Roberts on. Play three at the back. Too much?
philipl Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Even against kids this good, the senior pros strength was increasingly showing as the game went on. Now, no Rovers horror defending in ET please.
1864roverite Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Who would have thought this Rovers team would have come out fighting like that in the second half? Not me for sure after a woeful first half. Every credit to them, they stifled the midfield and got an equaliser through that man RSC. With the game now entering ET its a bit fiesty to say the least, I bet AW didnt see the two footed challenge even though it happened directly in front of him. 2-2 30 mins to go, a much maligned Benni Mac on the pitch. Should be interesting at least. Go for it Rovers, the southern foreigners are a little rattled.
Exiled_Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Denilson sent off Arsenal = VIOLENT FOOTBALL! They say a team moulds itself after it's manager. Wenger's always struck me as a petulant sod, so it makes sense. Disgusting tackle.
James No. 7 Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 What the hell was sav booked for? For having the gall to have a word with Denilson. Well done Santa Cruz. You sir are a legend. The team looked quite different from the first half. Rovers have found out how to play a decent passing game again. We have them on the run, although it feels like every chance Arsenal get they have the real possibility of scoring. Come on you Rovers!
G Somerset Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 We WILL NOT win if it goes to penatlties At least they don't have Almunia in goal if it does go to penalties as he's a spot kick specialist.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Thank god for Sky+ otherwise I would have missed Eastenders and Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Whilst being such an experienced player in world football, surely McCarthy must have realised that being in an offside position when the ball is crossed is still not allowed in the game of football. He never learns!
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Damn it! 3-2 to Arsenal. Eduardo 16 minutes to go.
G Somerset Rover Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Youve got to be ******* kidding me Mokoena for Dunn. I know he's injured but get Roberts on!!
Daremz Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 We'll never learn. Goodbye Carling Cup. And after last the last two league matches, I think we'll have a very hard season unless we start picking things up very soon....!
