T4E Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Wayne Rooney out for 4 weeks with ankle injury (on skysports news) ######. That means Saha will play. He always scores against us.
Cocker Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 ######. That means Saha will play. He always scores against us. Didnt think he was match fit yet though
Ozz Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 ######. That means Saha will play. He always scores against us.
T4E Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Didnt think he was match fit yet though He's in the squad - came off the bench against Kiev on Wednesday to replace Tevez.
only2garners Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 He's in the squad - came off the bench against Kiev on Wednesday to replace Tevez. According to the interview with Fergie (link above) Saha is not yet fully fit so is likely to be on the bench.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Anyway, Saha wont do well because he hasn't got Alan Smith anymore to punch the ball to so they def won't be scoring!
promoted2001 Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 yay no rooney. hopefully ronaldo and tevez collide in the pre match warm up
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Just give it everything you've got lads...we cant complain!
Roar of the Rover Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Doesn't really matter who they've got available, United can score from anywhere on the pitch, especially at Old Trafford
1864roverite Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Doesn't really matter who they've got available, United can score from anywhere on the pitch, especially at Old Trafford ....and that includes from Fergies position in the stands as well clownaldo and tevez up front ? looks like Rovers have their work cut out. Samba versus the midget could be a fantastic battle.
Quack Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 I am pleased that our ginger nemesis is crocked and Rooney will be missing - still going for a MUFC win 2-1, Tevez / Ronaldo and Benni for Rovers. I am somewhat surprised we agreed to swap the game to Sunday especially as RFW rested 5 of his usual starters.
Oklahoma Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 I'm always hoptimistic So, we'll win 1-0, Benni scoring with 10 minutes to go. The ref will turn it into 17 minutes (7 min of extra time) but Brad saves every shot.
Mr. E Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 We should be confident in the fact that we've done so well so far and that anything we get in this game will be a bonus. We should have a go at them, but at the same time be careful because United can rip anyone apart on their day.
Rovers in America Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 I'm ready for this game. Too bad I've got tow ait til tomorrow.
RoversFanUSA Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 I'm always hoptimistic So, we'll win 1-0, Benni scoring with 10 minutes to go. The ref will turn it into 17 minutes (7 min of extra time) but Brad saves every shot. I like the way you think!
Paul Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Independent on Sunday. This link could go in 3 or 4 different threads but I'll settle for here. Mainly discusses Hughes and Utd but makes some good points about our gates, local population etc and the Liverpool game.
USABlue Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Independent on Sunday. This link could go in 3 or 4 different threads but I'll settle for here. Mainly discusses Hughes and Utd but makes some good points about our gates, local population etc and the Liverpool game. Says we could have finished higher without distraction of the UEFA, forgets to mention two broken legs and no Admiral or Reidy. Article is nothing more than another push to get him in at Old Trafford. They really want Hughes out of Blackburn don't they.
modes98 Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 ROVERS: Friedel, Emerton, Samba, Nelsen ©, Warnock, Bentley, Mokoena, Dunn, Pedersen, McCarthy, Santa Cruz. Subs: Brown (GK), Ooijer, Tugay, Berner, Derbyshire. MAN UTD: Van der Sar, Evra, Hargreaves, Ferdinand, Brown, Ronaldo, Anderson, Saha, Giggs ©, Vidic, Tevez. Subs: Kuszczak (GK), Carrick, Nani, O'Shea, Fletcher.
Derbyshire Blue Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Fortunately full match commentary on 5live Come on Rovers
andrew92 Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 mooena and dunn cente mid, erm not as confident, but come on lads prove me wrong!
rover6 Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Hargreaves-Anderson v Dunn-Mokoena Now, that should be a one-sided contest - but McCarthy could help out by dropping deep. Not confident about us winning this, but I reckon we'll put in a good show. Bruno Berner on the bench... let's hope Warnock stays on the pitch and Ronaldo doesn't have a chance to run at the Swiss left back.
Fife Rover Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 I don't usually do predictions but just have a feeling about this one:- Man U. 1 - Rovers 1 Derbs for Rovers 85min Man U pen in 95th min.
