AndyH16 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Chances are it's, for some reason, created a new Firefox profile for you. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles - if you have more than one folder in there then chances are that's what's happened. Go into the folder, there should be a bookmarks.html file. Open it and it should list all your favourites. If it does note the name of the folder it's in (loads of random characters). Make sure Firefox is closed, go back a few folders to C:\...Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\ open the profiles.ini file and change the path name to reflect the proper profile, save and reload Firefox, hopefully that works!

You can also run the "run" program (accessible from the start-up menu, or do a search), type "firefox.exe -profilemanager" (without the quotation marks), press enter, then see if you have more than one profile and select your old profile if there is more than one.
