Brown.

Brown?!?! Leave it out. The original is Black Betty by Ram Jam. Seems pretty silly to change LD Rovers lyrics to be honest.

I wasn't actually being serious. I think using that song would be good, although I do think you could easily change black to something else. I know there isn't anything meant by it and it is the original lyric, but it could be taken the wrong way.

Do not fret just change it to Pigmently Superior Benni it may loose its ring but it is safe.

Just thought of a good reason to keep hold of Oojer this transfer window. The Blackburn End can sing "...Andre Oojer, Andre Oojer etc..." to the tune of the Hallelujah Chorus. Bit repetitive, but quite easy to remember.

The bottom line is that there are obviously many good songs to be sung about our players and we even have the people to think them up on here, but until the fans that actually turn up get off there arses and get singing them we might aswell close the topic.

And based on that, we can close it now.

To lighten the mood, a little ditty for Christmas (to the tune of Mistletoe and wine)

Christmas time, valium and wine,

children indulging in petty crime,

dad's on the smack and mum's out her tree,

christmas is ace when you come from burnley!
