Grabbi Graeme Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Headline on official site says only one change from Weds but dosen't give the team at the moment, guessing I would say Peds in for Nelsen,
G Somerset Rover Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Tugay for Nelsen. Think our players have gone back to their more familiar roles.
budha Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 I have the utmost respect for Tugay, but I just can't understand how bringing Tugay in and moving Dunny to left is the preferred choice over just bringing Gamst to the left.
rover6 Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Or taking the 'risk' and fielding Treacy on the left wing. Gamst is deserving of being benched but the natural replacement is not even on the bench. A British/Irish mandatory quota would overcome that fear factor and be of great use in such a case.
rovers1993 Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 santa cruz! wasted it! one on one already! dammmm
tchocky Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Hmmm I don't think it's looking very promising so far.. Hopefully it's a case of two different performances first and second half.
tchocky Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Hughes needs to tell the players to get the ball down and play it. Not hoof it up to Roque. Newcastle have taken more and more control of the game, simply by working harder than us.
G Somerset Rover Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 We're simply not scoring enough goals at home. I fear one goal for Newcastle may be enough. Edit: 8 home goals SSN just said, and when you consider that 4 were in one game it's pretty depressing!
Rover Down Under Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Why have we gone from playing beautiful flowing football to Wimbledon circa 1990's in the space of 3 days? Or is this MH tactics - look incompetent then hit them for 6 in the second half...
G Somerset Rover Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Are we incapable of defending free kicks? The worst thing about it all is that our set pieces are the worst in the Prem!
krislu Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 what the hell is going on. We are starting to show our true self I'm afraid. All the talk off CL was never more than just that IMO. It's early days though, we can still make next years Intertoto...
rovers1993 Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 BENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
G Somerset Rover Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 One all Bentley! That's more like it boys!
sany Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 We are starting to show our true self I'm afraid. All the talk off CL was never more than just that IMO. It's early days though, we can still make next years Intertoto... i totally blame Hughes. He's messing up with selection like Souness did.
krislu Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Brilliant goal by Bentley. That ball was miles outside the post then it curled back perfectly..
rovers1993 Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 pedersen needs to prove himself now! dunn off for him.
Rovers in America Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 What the hell was that clusterf*** in the box? Thankfully Newcastle didn't get the go ahead goal on that inside the goal area. Brilliant strike by Bentley a bit ago.
