USRoverME Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 the scoreline is horrible, but we were not soundly outplayed in this match. surprising that our first team strikers squandered as many chances..
Tim Southampton Rover Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I think the positive thing out of todays game is that Reid has got more minutes under his belt and err.........err........yeah.....and.....umm.....hmmmmm... Come on ref blow the fudging whistle
eddiewac Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 nah, the ball bounced very strangly and hit him. He was keeping his arm as close to his side as he could. cos thats never happened to us before...
artemorethanlabore Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Can't argue that, but it leaves me frustrated at the result all the same.
Blackpool_Rover Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Blaming the ref is the easiest option. We have basically our full strength team out, and the fact is that we have been beaten convincingly at home. DONT COMMENT WHEN YOU HAVENT SEEN THE GAME your talking utter rubbish. We have battered villa tonight and the scoreline is a mystery. I saw the first 60 mins in the pub here,. I walked out after an abysmal refereeing decision because i was getting annoyed by idiot teplice fans. But before this, we played well. And our play before their first goal was excellent.

Scoreline is not a mystery to me as I thought Villa would beat us.
ihateburnley Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Nights like this I think - fck it it's only football.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I hope someone just sits on the ball and refuses to play until the final whistle goes.
Lurid Coat Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 ######, @#/? hell. I can't remember the last time I've felt so utterly humiliated after a Rovers match.
American Rover12 Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 We've lost all our Goal Difference
Tim Southampton Rover Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Bring on Newcastle. They must be quaking in their boots!
Mr. E Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 final whistle best news I've heard all day. Now we can go quietly bury ourselves in the ground.
philipl Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Per the BBC (Rovers first): Possession 53% 47% Shots on target 12 7 Shots off target 9 1 Corners 13 2 Fouls 12 18 The next two games are against teams we lost at home to as well last season....
rover6 Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 It's what happens when Emerton plays RM. Right back is to Emo what hair was to Samson.
brfc4ever Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Bring on Newcastle. They must be quaking in their boots! LOL ! Good one mate.

Did we have a shot in the box (McCarthy early in the 2nd maybe)? They let us play it around in midfield, defnded well and took their chances. As I've not seen the game on TV please explain what the abysmal ref decisions were. From where I was sat the penalty and red card looked pretty straight forward. Stupidity on Nelsons part. However i wait to see the TV replays.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Radio Rovers are the most biased radio station in the world so thats why we probably all have those opinions
