T4E Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Please bring Sav back to Ewood, in any capacity, asap. Love him.
Silencio Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Sorry, was a great player and I like him but he comes across a complete whopper in that interview...
Stuart Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 "Real Madrid.... R-E-A-L M-A-D-R-I-D!" Garlic bread?
alexanders Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 What a great pirate look-a-like guy that is! We really miss him in our midfield! The true and best example of the great bully boys days!
Amo Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 What a great pirate look-a-like guy that is! We really miss him in our midfield! The true and best example of the great bully boys days! We are certainly missing someone of his calibre. Not just his tireless running but also his gumption, which was contagious on the pitch.
Gally Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I'd swap half of our squad for a 28 year old Sav at the moment. The trouble is that a 40 year old Tugay may prove more useful in the current team.
John Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 The Radio 5 live team at Villa Park enjoy the moment as fellow pundit Robbie Savage is hit in the face by the ball when a wayward clearance ends up in the commentary position during Aston Villa's Premier League match against West Ham.
DeadlyDirk Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Finally got around to listening to Savage's interview at the moment and it's brilliant, the amount of stumbling the interviewer is going through is classic, Savage is completley owning him here, barring him getting a little over excited about someone having a premier league appearance!

I listened to this earlier sure made me laugh, where are the cameras when you need them
Backroom DE. To be honest whilst I did find it funny, he should've stopped after 2 or 3 minutes. The longer it went on the sillier it became. Fair play to Sav for having a go, though
DeadlyDirk Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 To be honest whilst I did find it funny, he should've stopped after 2 or 3 minutes. The longer it went on the sillier it became. Fair play to Sav for having a go, though I actually agree, I wrote that whilst listening to it and after a while he did go over the same points a little and it started to drag, still classic though. A manager couldn't ask for more public support from his captain than that.
John Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Derby County captain Robbie Savage has another run-in with reporter Colin Gibson following a melee against Swansea at the weekend and defends his outburst on BBC Radio 5 Live.
RibbleValleyRover Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Sav in goal for Derby tonight after Bywater's (who went off) replacement Deeney has been sent off. Penalty goes over the bar.
cn174 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Sav in goal for Derby tonight after Bywater's (who went off) replacement Deeney has been sent off. Penalty goes over the bar. Go on Sav!
MeanGreenMachine Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 The guy is a legend, easily one of my favourite ever players.
tcj_jones Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 I'll be honest, he's probably my favourite all-time Rovers player...
T4E Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 The media exposure he's getting at the minute is brilliant. What a top, top bloke.
Presty On Tour Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 His column in the paper is brilliant. I wish Tosh would let it go and pick him again for Wales.
RibbleValleyRover Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Big Sav fan here, plays the game to have a bit of fun and doesn't care what people think of him. He's definitely up there in my favourite players to play for Rovers group.
Sparky Marky Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 I'll be honest, he's probably my favourite all-time Rovers player... Are you five or something...?
T4E Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 If he was then he would only have been 3 when Sav left. Seems unlikely.
