I was on the Liverpool forum (est1892) looking for any Harry Kewell gossip (which I didn't find) but ended up reading their Newcastle thread which is very funny!

There is obviously no censorship on the site but some of the venom that is spat at Newcastle and their fans is very amusing reading.

I didn't realise there was quite so much hatred for them. I mean, I know they're all stupid and deluded but I guess I thought I was in a minority in disliking them so much.

It very much appears that I'm not.

one thing everyone has overlooked,this is a new era for newcastle.

how many managers has ashley appointed?

how many chairman were the club shirt?

how many chairman sit with the fans?

how many chairman by the whole club/pub a drink

He wont be sitting there as Harry struggles to cope with the "big club" syndrome and the chants ring out of derision amongst the barcode faithful.

I'd say that is the only certainty amongst all the speculation. I don't know what Ashley is worth but it has cost Chelsea at least £300m to get where they are, Ashley isn't going to spend money like that, in fact he'd sell tomorrow if a good offer came along.

Which makes whoever goes to the Magpies a bit of a fool really. I don't think Hughes will go to Newcastle, but he could well replace whoever does.
