Al Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Any Premiership manager already in a job would be stupid to go to Newcastle. It is career suicide. The Barcodes fans will never be happy until Shearer takes the job.

1864roverite Posted January 10, 2008 Author Posted January 10, 2008 Massive money on the big odds falling Kevin Keegan returning to the club.
1864roverite Posted January 10, 2008 Author Posted January 10, 2008 Pompy making press announcement about noone from Newcaslte making contact with them and that he recently signed a new contract !
DudeAbides Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Read on another forum that the Toon have approached Rovers to talk to Hughes
Presty On Tour Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Massive money on the big odds falling Kevin Keegan returning to the club. i would love it if he came back and i'm sure he would love anther crack of the whip at Newcastle. a great character who i believe is sadly missed from the game.
rebelmswar Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Cheer up Kevin Keegan, oh what can it mean?
G Somerset Rover Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 i would love it if he came back Like it!
gumboots Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Don't really care who they get as long as it's not Hughes.
modes98 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Footymad... Not really the best forum in the world to take info from. Mind you the silence is deafening from Ewood in recent days. Even just a 'hello we are still here and trying to get players in'
Billy Castell Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 A Keegan/Shearer combo would be great. Then those self styled 'best fans in the world' will enjoy losing 7-5 every game and be relegated.
1864roverite Posted January 10, 2008 Author Posted January 10, 2008 Even the Newcaslte vicar is being interviewed now. It really is a muppet show and a circus of clowns.
Presty On Tour Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 the biggest problem with newcastle is they're defence, keegan doesn't play with a defence so the problem is wiped out!
gumboots Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 It is beginning to get a bit more worrying that other managers are distancing themselves from the Newcastle job but we hear nothing. Hopefully it's because they are still trying to get players in and are more concentrated on Rovers than on any other club. However, Mr williams, if you are around, you've been very quick to deny the rumoured moves for players so could you be as quick on this one if there reallyis no need for us to worry and then we can get on with important things like housework and cooking tea.

Even just a 'hello we are still here and trying to get players in' That maybe but im sure they hear stuff just as we do, whatever the forum.
1864roverite Posted January 10, 2008 Author Posted January 10, 2008 Rovers just announced no contact from NUFC
philipl Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Good media handling- let the others get their denials out then immediately stick your's in so it is the freshest news but before the press get a head of steam going that you are the only non-denier.
1864roverite Posted January 10, 2008 Author Posted January 10, 2008 Hughes odds just dropped slightly now at 4-1 from 2-1
Sandiway Blue Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Hughes odds just dropped slightly now at 4-1 from 2-1 7-1 on betfair.
1864roverite Posted January 10, 2008 Author Posted January 10, 2008 The ONLY person to write about Hughes has been that idiot Oliver who writes for the Northern news/echo. I would put HIM into the sme bracket as Jimbomk11
brian_gallagher85 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Latest rumour doing the rounds in Newcastle and has been on SSN...that Arry is up there having flown up from Southampton
