Mr. E Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Dropping Benni - mistake. Starting with any of these so-called defenders - joke.

tony gale's mic Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 samba is still a class act. nelsen on the other hand is well past it.
Rovermatt Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I don't believe it. What on earth is going on?
rovers1993 Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 next time for defence i would go with emerton - ooijer - samba - warnock. nelsen is past it.... roberts is pace, power, determination everything you like in a person but no end result.
krislu Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 What with all the "anger", there is absolutely no suprise that we are 1-0 down. Where have you all been the last couple of months?
Rovers in America Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 This first half has largely been forgettable so far.
joey_big_nose Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Bizarre game, we have utterly dominated possession and shots but never really looked like scoring. Boro have had three attacks and scored off one of them.
Mr. E Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 The game has largely been played in front of Middlesbrough's box, with Bentley going close a few times - but as usual we get beaten by one very ordinary long ball where our captain fails to mark his man. And I think we've run out of these "comebacks".
Cocker Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Bizarre game, we have utterly dominated possession and shots but never really looked like scoring. Boro have had three attacks and scored off one of them. I dont know what to believe. Phil Thompson on sky is saying apart from the Bentley shot we have been awful
Rover Down Under Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I think we are playing well enough to come back. Boro's goal was from a set piece which we are poor at defending. We are just looking to capitalise on our record of coming back from a goal down to win which I think we will! Up the Rovers!
thecomebackid Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Things must be bad when it even sounds like Stuart Hall is talking sense on the BBC World Service- never thought I would say that. He described the defence as being all over the place & Roberts as just a 'bruiser', adding that it was time to bring on Emerton & MaCarthy.
tony gale's mic Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 why is roberts so rubbish when he starts a game?
Blueandwhitemike Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Watching on the net, we've had 10 shots to their 1 We've dominated possession without looking great Bentley had a great shot, inches wide with the keeper beaten With a little luck we can still win it Though you do have to wonder how often can we come from behind to win
Rovers in America Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 It should be 2-0 Boro right now. That was shambolic defending.
Mr. E Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 we're huffing and puffing, but with nothing going from central midfield and with no defense there's only so much we can do.
Presty On Tour Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 emerton and derbyshire on peds and dunn off
Presty On Tour Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 wheater hits the bar!! but derbyshire scores!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rovers in America Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Sounds like Boro could have been 2 or 3-0 up. Easily they could have been. Thankfully Derbs just put that one in. If we didnt' get a goal from that, we were losing today for sure. 1-1 now.
tchocky Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Ohhh what a substitution! Was sure we'd lose now
Presty On Tour Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 c'mon rovers, lets bombard them, they are there for the taking!!
