While I am in enquiry mode: Anyone know what has happened to Theno? Not seen sight nor sound of him for quite a while!

Last time I spoke to him he had been banned from the m/b.

I asked him what for and he said he thought it was for making a comment that I thought was extremely innocuous if that is what it was, but obviously the mods may take a different view.

Hull getting anyone in on loan other than Clement?

Mikel Alonso, brother of Xabi, will probably play for the reserves tonight. He is likely to join from Bolton for the rest of the season.

John Curtis also due to play for the Tigers stiffs.

harry kewell played for liverpool reserves last night-is this because he is just back from injury, or has he been dropped there???...alonso was also playing aswell last night...

kewell's is out of contract in the summer-if liverpool dont consider offering him a new contract i hope we do..he will give pedersen the competition he needs, and he also can play in numerous other positions..

He is also available for 2 games a season, for £50,000 p/w. But since one of those games would have to be the Champions League, and we have no chance of being there, that will be 1 game per season.

Good value I say.

Yeah, that's keepy-uppy comp winner, Alex(?) Marrow. Tabloid headline writers have not been the same since that story cropped up. A guy called 'marrow' wins a 'keepy uppy' competition - there is a God after all...

Sort of player I could see Hughes turning round, breaking the injury cycle, and bringing back the glory days. Would also be an ideal signing for us as he can play up front and out left and has pace to burn. Could be like a left sided Bellamy for us.

Problem is that there are a few clubs out there who have far more money than us and make a habit of signing formerly great now injury prone players on massive wages- West Ham and Newcastle.

If he was interested in rekindling his career and taking a pay cut then he could be on to a good thing with Hughes if we went for him. Not too likely though.

Harry Kewell and 'pace to burn' in the same sentence, now I've heard it all.

Maybe 10 years ago . .

i do think either damien duff or harry kewell could be worth a bid for..both have had their injury problems, but so did david dunn before he joined us....

we do need competition on the left wing-and with those two, they can also play in other positions aswell...

i dont know to much of keith treacy-but he always seems injuried, i do like sergio peter tho-but he doesnt look like he will make it..

Not sure I agree there, Peter has been out with a long term thigh injury so it's not that he is being overlooked. Treacy has had a rare injury that's just come at an unfortunate time for him. If anything we're better covered on LW than any other position.

Shame some of our more idiotic fans booed Treacy on his full debut, not exactly the confidence booster he needed.

I don't remember anyone booing him. I remember the booing for the appalling football we had to watch and a 4-1 defeat against a poor championship team who have now sacked their manager.

Treacy looked very good early on in his full debut, he was when dragged down by the rest of the teams mentality.

There are reports in the daily mail that viduka is unhappy at newcastle. If roberts goes in the summer I think he would be a decent signing if we could get him cheap.

on his day viduka can be very good, but if we was after another striker, i dont think another target man is needed-we need someone with pace...

There's nothing cheap about Viduka...£80,000-a-week wages for one.

Has Kiraly been injured or just not in the first team? He played at Bamber Bridge last night for Burnley Reserves against North End.

Dropped.
