No worry boys, we won't be around long more to fail you goodselves.

Best of luck next year, how do you reckon you'll fare in the Championship? Seems to me Woy and Sanchez have bought a lot of mediocre players between them and I fear you'll be in the Championship for a good while. Hope you bounce back as Craven Cottage is always a good day out.

The words "eyeing up" and "looks set to" are used in this article........so here's my "scoop":

Blackburn Rovers could be lining up a £250,000 swoop for Man Unitd star Christiano Ronaldo who could perhaps maybe leave the Red Devils in the summer.

Get that in next Sunday's People Nicko !!

Nicko, whats the chances of Stoke getting the 3 points awarded for their draw against Sheff Weds?

...thats what they're asking the FA for, after Sheff Weds had 6 loan players in their 16 man squad, when you're only allowed 5. Although Sheff Weds only used 1 of the 3 loan subs on the bench.

Leeds did the same a couple of years ago and only got a fine... let's see how consistent the FA have become....

cries of desperation from the Stoke end methinks....

Burnley could easily pip Watford to a play-off spot if Watford play like they did yesterday... they were as bad as Southampton! even Colchester looked a better team than Watford.

...and finally, do you know what this nonsense is about Sheff Utd having "health & safty issues" with the top tier of their away stand? ...or is it them making up tales?

as Hull City have sold out the 3,000 lower tier and have asked for the upper bit to the away stand and Sheff Utd have said We think we have health and safty issues with the upper tier... we'll get back to you.

Personally I think they're making it up and their chairman would be daft not to open it, as the demand is there for the full upper tier too.

As for Rovers looking at Bradley... wouldn't be a bad signing actually. As for American's... I wouldn't mind taking a look at Clint Dempsey because of his versatility and because of how he tends to get at teams, even at Fulham (no offence ffan)... bit like a poor man's Tim Cahill.

Dempsey is very athletic. One of the few Americans to play well in Germany last World Cup, I thought. One of my former teammates in college played with Dempsey in club ball out in Texas. I said who wants to touch me!!!?:lol:

I haven't seen Bradley play, but he's been scoring loads of goals. Several of my American pals rate him very highly.

never heard of this gearoid morrissey lad, but if he can prove a good investment, then why not!

Not sure about Morrissey playing for Rovers. Would it mean a ban on all meat pies, lots of miserable whining whenever he gets tackled, and the team running out to the strains of 'Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now'?...

I believe he is a charming man.

Stop me if you've heard this one before, but...

I heard he wouldn't come over because he has a girlfriend in a coma. But we shouldn't panic. I reckon we should ask again, because I'm sure he'd fit Rovers like a hand in glove.

But really, what difference does it make? right? I don't know if it's true. Probably just some bigmouth strikes again sort of thing.

I hear Liverpool and Everton are attempting to hijack the transfer...the song "Shoplifters of the World Unite" was said to be a deciding factor in them making a move...

Also Liverpool are extending their interested because of "there is a light and it never goes out" ...it is said the club would use this to gain trust of their supporters who believe "it will be their year to win the title" every start to a new season.

Also Sunderland are now interested.... Irish blood, English heart....

And because of their now (famous) triumph at Wembley, MK Dons are pitching their hopes on a loan deal as.... the last of the GANG to die.

Yes, it is...and also pretty much what it says on the tin.

Rovers have been checking on the lad Bradley for some time and the top scout picked out his game for the United States against Poland last week - and he did well.

I know Everton are very keen, but do not think he is worth the £4.5 million fee. I think Rovers are probably more interested than them - and I would think the manager will go for a final look soon.

He ticks a lot of boxes - price range, young, athletic, can improve, midfield legs...

I think we will hear a lot more about him soon.

The kid Morrissey is coming over to sign and is just a young 'un.

And don't worry about the Bentley moving stuff. I still think the contract issue WILL be resolved...it should be soon enough.

Young Bradley is very highly touted over here, funnily enough by some of the English pundits who seem to like his game a lot. The word I have had on the lad is he is 100% commited to being the best he can be, reports I heard are he eats, lives, breathes footy. Spends a lot of his spare time reviewing videos to work on his game. I have not seen much of him but what I have seen I think he is as well suited for the English game as any American I have seen thus far.

In a way I'll be sad to see you lot go down, Fulham, Bolton and us all came up together and it looks like we will be losing two of the longest surviving promoted teams. I think it is the only time all three teams that came up lived so long in the Prem. I have actually enjoyed watching Fulham this year they have, to me, at least tried to play some decent footy and have had the devils luck with some of their results. I'd much rather see the like of Brum go down that you lot. Good luck and don't stop visiting if you don't make it.

I believe that many years ago Liverpool tried to sign him on schoolboy terms, but Frankly Mr Shankly was told no.

anything in blackburn after kightly maybe just for back up or something???

this bradley guy has scored like 15 goals this season from midfield-pretty good-albeit in the dutch league..

15 (more or less) goals in the Dutch league is a helluva lot better than 15 ( more or less) goals in the MLS where he was up until a short time ago. If I recall, this M. Bradley was 'drafted' by the Red Bulls at age 16 and saw some amount of playing time there until Arena arrived in NJ/NY and threw the baby out w/ the bathwater.

I've not kept up with young Michael, but I do recall a underdeveloped physical presence. Perhaps that's changed as he's come into his body as he approaches his 20's.....
