I didn't see the game, but heard he also passed the ball back to Stoke during a Leicester attack, or something similar?

That was an accident.

However I don't think he played the full four minutes extra. Leicester are such a bunch of amateurs that they allowe dthat to pass.

Chairman is in America - although he can talk to Sky before he speaks to his manager. Holloway knew he was gone a long time ago. Joke.

Very well said, gumboots. However much Bents loves Rovers he has some big (and worrying for a young man) decisions to make. In the meantime let's all get behind him and support him. I for one don't want him going anywhere but it's not our decision to make.

Dean definitely short-changed Leicester and whilst I hope that Stoke receive a punishment for the pitch invasion it won't happen. I experienced the same fans on the touchline farce when we lost the second leg of the play-off final down at Palace. I hate these morons who swarm onto the pitch, that's how we started before the violent pitch invasions began, then fences, then Hillsboro' ..............

As for Mandaric I remember a very entertaining cover of 'When Saturday Comes' many years ago with a picture of Peter Swales and the headline 'Beware, Serial Employer'. Peter Swales at least had a comedy hair-style, Mandaric doesn't make me laugh.

Sorry for Holloway and anyone else who goes to work for Milan.

Great news about Warnock, Derbs and Olsson all signing new contracts to the summer of 2012.

Just going back to Bentley for a moment, if he thinks that by being at a top four club will give him a better opportunity to be selected for England going into the next Championships, he just needs to look at SWP who was a certainty whilst he was at Man City but was then overlooked for the World Cup squad whilst at Chelsea because he only had a bit part role for his club.

I'd be sick if Bentley left, he's our one really class act in midfield, the sort of player that can unlock tight defences. Having said that the way football is at the moment, if he want's to leave he'll go, we've seen it before, we'll see it again- nothing really the fans or the club can do to make him stay, any talk of sticking him in the reserves is just foolish.

What we can do is make sure we get full value ( £15 mil) and then spend it wisely, we can't afford a direct replacement ( although I'd try for Diouf, loathsome creature but on his day just as capable as Bentley ), but we can strengthen the rest of the team.

Hey guys, sorry if this has been mentioned before earlier, didn't read all 200+ pages.

Does anyone know if Everton applied for the intertoto? If not, does that mean if Villa overtakes everton on the last day, villa will get the last uefa cup spot and we at 7th, get the intertoto spot?

Yes, they have. So either way they are now in Europe.

Rovers win, Villa don't and it's the InterToto plus an end-of-season bonus for Top Six backers.

That's an in joke, about 500-odd pages ago.

1. El Hadji Diouf would be a disastrous signing for Blackburn. The man has talent but he would be like Savage on speed, an annoying disruptive .....!!! Disloyal and a bit of a clown, remember that dive against us that got him a penalty!!

2. With regards to Michael Tonge, a good player but i cant see Sparky paying 4 million for him!! not sure if there is any truth in this rumour or not. bit of crafty media attention if you ask me. when you consider how much we paid for Benni, Roque e.t.c. Much like Koumas's overinflated fee in the january transfer window!

Its actually 4 points, and they're the only team in the top half with a neg GD. In addition, Wolves and Ipswich are still yet to play their games in hand. I wouldn't be surprised if the Dingles finished in the bottom half.

B) Gap closing?! They'll go down next year.

Keep him at Ewood, give him Tash's phone number :rover:

Indeed. When Bentley gets the ball on the wing a good cross into the danger area is almost a 'nailed on' certainty, and no one can claim that about SWP. Dunno what happened to Bents in the in-between years but the old tag 'the new Bergkamp' is not looking so far off now. Eddie Niedswickzi (sp?) has come up trumps there.

Looks like it is going to be quite difficult to get one of our top transfer targets....

Everton boss Moyes chasing Bradley

It has looked like a fight with Everton for some time...the thing in your favour is that good old Moyesie takes forever to make his mind up.

So if Rovers do believe Bradley is the answer they should strike fast and decisive.

I don't see the Zamora story at all, by the way. But I would not dismiss the possibility of striker movement.

Given Hughes has said he is not looking for a striker this summer, it shows how much notice the press takes of the Rovers these days.

Right...because what we say in public is always how we go on to act.
