So who's the comedian hiding behind the scouse IP? It might have been slightly funny (to some) the first time.

Now though, the situation is getting desperate (but not serious...). You can't joke about these things.

I'm sorry but it doesn't half get annoying from time to time when your just whittering on about Fulham.

I have no problem with you whatsoever but this is Blackburn Rovers messageboard, and noone cares who Fulham are signing at all, or to be honest, anything relating to Fulham.

However, certain discussions get saturated with Fulham!!

FFAN take no notice lad.

Ffan: This is a free and friendly (well mostly) site and you are very welcome. It would be a very poor site if fans of other clubs could not come on and chat to us. Just as long as it stays friendly and no hurling abuse I can't see any problem.

Koumas?

Roberts back to Wigan?

Walter Smith is still interested in Marcus Bent. Samaras possibly going to Celtic instead means he will seek to get permission to buy Bent (as he's played for Charlton and Wigan already).

If he gets his man, Rovers will offer Roberts & a few quid (probably performance related bonus) in exchange for out of favour Koumas.

Rangers get their striker, Wigan bring back fans favourite, Roberts gets first team football, Koumas joins up with Hughes again.

It all depends on the outcome of Bent. If he doesn't get permission, it won't happen. Wigan won't seek a replacement and Hughes won't pay over the odds.

Watch out for Wednesday is all i'm saying. If it happens, it happens then.

I've no axe to grind with FFAN, he's not abusive and he's not that boring- come on in pal. As for the Scharner/Trottman issue, I've never seen Trottman play but Scharner is a class act. Either at centre-half or in front of the back four he's a good un, comes over as a bit of a nut case but he can play , Samba and Scharner , now you're talking.

Me neither, you can bet your bottom dollar that if we new where there was a journo(albeit a closet dingle) spilling the beans on all the latest transfers and rumours, we would be asking our fair share of questions!

Let's hope that doesn't happen, I don't rate Koumas particularily highly. He's no better than anyone we have.

Couldnt agree more. Theres nothing in our rules that says you have to be a Rovers fan to register. We've had a few fulham fans hanging around in recent years, probably started when we were both going for promotion.

There are rules about staying on topic though, and I can't see any threads that are about Fulham...

From tomorrow's Mail

Rovers hot on Chile skipper

Blackburn are to hold talks with Chile captain Claudio Maldonado over a £1million move.

Midfielder Maldonado, 28, has 39 caps for his country and has recently won the title in Brazil with Santos.

The Brazilian side have given Maldonado permission to join up with Rovers.

Manager Mark Hughes, who is also interested in Macedonian Velice Sumulikoski from Turkish club Bursaspor, is desperate to sign a new midfielder before the transfer window closes.

He turned to Maldonado after seeing a move for on-loan Rangers man Amdy Faye collapse.

Maldonado has an impressive reputation in South America as a holding midfielder and ball-winner.

Was a right pain on these MBs though when those so-and-sos did the double over us and grabbed the Championship. All that super Seany Davis stuff....

At least we have had a better run than Fulham since we went up and are not in the soup they are in now. Whatever way I look at it, I'd say Fulham are already relegated now. With everyone from Spurs/Newcastle downwards scrapping to avoid 18th place, that scrimmage of clubs are going to continue picking up points here and there all the time as its going to be musical chairs time until in May when the League will stop and someone's going to find their place has gone. Fulham urgently need to find a run of three wins on the trot from somewhere just to join in the party games fun for 17th place or better and looking at their fixture list I cannot see where that is going to come from.

Sorry Ffan, but I think the brave triumvirate which came up together in 2000/1 and amazingly have all stayed up together are going to be broken at last this year and you are the guys for the drop.

Blackburn are to hold talks with Chile captain Claudio Maldonado over a £1million move. (....)

From Wiki: "Claudio Andrés del Tránsito Maldonado Rivera, or just Claudio Maldonado, (born on January 3, 1980 in Curicó, Chile) is a Chilean football player who is captain of the national side. He is a similar type of player to the likes of Ivan Campo, Mahamadou Diarra and Claude Makelele. Maldonado poseeses a great engine, top passing and tremendous battling qualities and is thought of by many as one of the best players in South America in his position creating an iron shield infront of the defence."

If this isn't one of Left Winger's entries, then I'd like this guy to sign post haste. Just what we need, in my opinion.
