My guess for the Macedonian would be QPR. Shame to miss out even seeing him, but right wing is hardly a position we are short on players for (Bentley, Dunn, Reid, Emerton, Derbyshire and Rigters!)

SOunds to me as if Maldonado is a go-er. Clearly available. The only problem si Hughes likes to trial players but we haven't really got much time.

Is Dembele out due to cost?

Argyle bid for Trotman

Did the Macedonian go to Leicester?

Plymouth bid is old news...there is ANOTHER Championship side in. If Oldham sell then Blackburn will get the call and the chance to match the offer, as was requested yesterday.

The Macedonian did not go to Leicester. Won't say where yet. Stuff from here is being lifted and followed up at the moment...slightly peeved about that.

There are two new powerful figures.

Tony Jimenez and Jeff Vetere. Jimenez is big mates with Dennis Wise and Vetere was a scout at Charlton and then Real Madrid. They are special advisers to Ashley and his other football chum Paul Kemsley, ex Tottenham number two.

Little KK has been out of the game for three years, knows very little about available players, and is starting to look like a figurehead to me.

Yes, Mark Hughes had a very narrow escape. I said all along he was too straight for that club. Perhaps you now know what I mean.

They are doing more than advising now...

Putting 2 and 2 together, it's Hull. interested in the last few months and Phil Brown has just said "I could possibly see faces in by Thursday, I still have a few irons in the fire, but all have other clubs interested in them too"
