LeftWinger Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 They've done that twice now and taken it off within seconds both times. The BBC did the same. There's no smoke without fire - and it's billowing out of there at the moment!

revolutionrock! Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I saw the Birmingham team last season, they didn't make chances, they were pretty grim. If Burnley get the Argie they will have as much good ball down the left as they have from Elliott down the right. Riordan probably won't happen...unless the Great Man decides different at the death. You dont scare us Nicko. Also, whats the deal with Delembe? Im really concerned now after two targets dont even come to us, and were after a ex dingle
revolutionrock! Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Also, Celtic are determined to sign Kyle Lafferty and have offered £2.5million plus Derek Riordan, but Burnley want £4million. Is he worth that much and should Burnley sell? Who do they think this guy is? Hes hardly setting the championship alight is he.?
they_think_its_all_rover Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I believe there may some copies of the special Burnley edition of the Sunday People available to give you the answer to who the left winger is... Noooo... I was making a point about Cole. You said you think he can do well in the CCC with good service... I was basically pointing out Sheringham is an old Prem veteran known for scoring for fun like Cole was, who has also taken the step down with Colchester... they've got good service but sheringham hasn't set the league alight. Although I could contradict myself and say look at Kevin Phillips...? Or contradict that and say John Hartson...
Ste B Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I believe there may some copies of the special Burnley edition of the Sunday People available to give you the answer to who the left winger is... Thats the one with no words, only pictures. So that our six fingered neighbours can understand it.

Im really concerned now after two targets dont even come to us, and were after a ex dingle The news from your friendly rivals just gets better...the Argie Scott Sellars is looking good too..it's been a long couple of days but I may just go out and do a quick lap of honour of Nicko Towers. Sorry to say I've heard nothing new from Rovers today. I have a feeling - as someone said earleir - that there will be a Last Dance at the Disco move for Koumas coming up. The Macedonian and the Bulgarian were not up to it by the looks and Faye went away to a chorus of cheers...I am told that Dembele is over-priced and not that great, but you never know. As someone once said...the gap is closing...
DudeAbides Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Coyle.... great man ? what drugs is this guy on ? since when did this become the dingle board ?

The gap is closing, dont make me laugh.

Is he worth that much and should Burnley sell? Who do they think this guy is? Hes hardly setting the championship alight is he.? I went to Hull Vs Burnley at Burnley earlier in the season (Don't worry I burned by clothes afterwards ) and he didn't seem to have a lot in him. Just seemed like a lanky lad that was good on the turn.

The gap is closing, dont make me laugh. Two bigger clubs - in Argentina - tried to nick him this week, that's one reason why this has taken a bit of time. But the boy wants to come and play in England. Quite happy to have him in the shop window. Then, next season, he can play for a Premier League team. Down the road.

Well clearly, the boy is a retard who will fit in well with Burnley. But hell have to go the "ROOM" first. OC-"We are a big club" BF-"We are a big club" I hope hes the next Berisha He turned out to be a right belter.

they_think_its_all_rover Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 The Umbro templates as promised; Template 1; Next seasons CSKA Moscow shirts made by Umbro. SLIGHT change in the template, as the page "explains" Here's Template 2; Not so much a template, but Southampton have just this week signed up to Umbro and noticed the shoulder/arm design is totally different to any of this years Umbro stuff! ...Its more of a hunch, that this could be the style of a new template? What do you think?
revolutionrock! Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I don't recall Coyley signing that gentleman... No, It was Carrot Muncher Cotteril. But , the dingles creamed there pants over him because he played for a Big Club in Germany and scored a goal at the Turf for Albania. Onto more important business, BLACKBURN ROVERS, id personally like to see the kit we have now for the next season. Really like it, especially the away one. Coyley God you really do lick his ass.
they_think_its_all_rover Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Just found this on the potential new HOME kit... http://www.football-shirts.co.uk/fans/blac...-umbro-news_594 Says details will be released soon! says the kit will be very "traditional" with clean lines.
Hasta Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I always thought the reason Andy Cole was such a prolific striker was his movement. He may well miss 5 of the 6 chances that come his way but a lot of other strikers would never get them chances. Cole knew how to get in the right place at the right time and lose his marker. His first goal for us at Sheff Weds was a prime example. He was still capable whilst at Man City. A lot depends on whether his instint is still enough or whether his loss of pace has finished him. I doubt very much whether he'll prove to be the prolific marksman Niko and the dingles hope. Let's be honest, when we were in that league and signed Hughes he was very ordinary at best.
spencey7 Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Okay, I'm officially worried. 48 hours of the window left and we've done NOTHING to address our obvious shortage midfield players. And an "ach, you'll do" move for Koumas? Horrifying. "Not good enough for Wigan? Get him to Ewood ASAP!" I dearly hope I'm proven wrong and Hughes pulls off another wonder-singing in the next two days, but with this lack of transfer activity - following the Newcastle fiasco - Dare I question if Sparky has lost his passion to improve Blackburn Rovers...? (Rhetorical question - Let's not go off-topic!)
modes98 Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Gary McAllister confirmed as new boss on leeds site (According to Radio 1 news) Confirmed, until the end of the season.
they_think_its_all_rover Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Another Umbro template for 2008/09... I think this is more likely to be one we end up with; http://forum.football.co.uk/about34746.html
Presty On Tour Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 yeah leeds do have a bigger fan base but where are they in the league? they are there because they are a cheating club and will do anything to stay afloat. they are run by ken bates, still have serious financial issues and the squad has been destabilised. Not a role I feel Martinez would want to go into and the man genuinely has a love for swansea and the fans. he wasn't interested in the Wigan or R.Sociadad jobs, so why leeds? Gary McAllister confirmed as new boss on leeds site (According to Radio 1 news) Confirmed, until the end of the season.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Officially confirmed for the final time now by Sky Sports! Gary Mac is the new manager of Leeds.
nicko Posted January 29, 2008 Author Posted January 29, 2008 Officially confirmed for the final time now by Sky Sports! Gary Mac is the new manager of Leeds. A plant-pot writes... Stunned, amazed and a tenner lighter. A few porkies were told by people in leading positions there, nothing new. There might be more to this than meets the eye, possibly someone coming in with money who wanted Macca to be the next boss. Odd altogether.
