what is this major news about spurs then??

Chimbonda starts...but could be gone to Aston Villa tomorrow if they decide to cough up...don't hold your breath.

Boateng is on bench...the two interested clubs have obviously not agreed a fee yet.

And there has been a big offer for Defoe today...but he is on the bench.

At £1.25m Wayne Routledge has to be the steal of the transfer window. He doesn't seem to have established himself anywere despite knocking around the premiership for some time, but I can't help thinking that with a bit of Spark-esque guidance he could become a top quality winger.

it could be man city, newcastle, or aston villa who are after defoe...

tom huddlestone looks to be playing centre back tonight...surely with his passing skills he should be playing in midfield..

tainio could be worth a bid for aswell..

But, intriguingly, there is a possible arrival after the window shuts. I believe there is a free agent player being discussed at the top level. More on this when I have it.

But you might as well take tomorrow off.

You're dead on there mate, a good signing, he's got tons of potential it just needs bringing out.
