DudeAbides Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Tomorrow. If we dont sign anyone, ill be disappointed to say the least Me too
Presty On Tour Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Is it tomorrow night the window closes or tonight? 12:00am 01/02/2008 is the window deadline for the f.a
nicko Posted January 30, 2008 Author Posted January 30, 2008 what is this major news about spurs then?? Chimbonda starts...but could be gone to Aston Villa tomorrow if they decide to cough up...don't hold your breath. Boateng is on bench...the two interested clubs have obviously not agreed a fee yet. And there has been a big offer for Defoe today...but he is on the bench.

Presty On Tour Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 And there has been a big offer for Defoe today...but he is on the bench. first thoughts is portsmouth, though they have just brought in baros on loan. newcastle perhaps?
The1mattjansen Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 At £1.25m Wayne Routledge has to be the steal of the transfer window. He doesn't seem to have established himself anywere despite knocking around the premiership for some time, but I can't help thinking that with a bit of Spark-esque guidance he could become a top quality winger.
Rover down South Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 first thoughts is portsmouth, though they have just brought in baros on loan. newcastle perhaps? Can't see it being any other team at this stage.
Mozzer Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 it could be man city, newcastle, or aston villa who are after defoe... tom huddlestone looks to be playing centre back tonight...surely with his passing skills he should be playing in midfield.. tainio could be worth a bid for aswell..
nicko Posted January 30, 2008 Author Posted January 30, 2008 I am virtually certain there will be no signings tomorrow... But, intriguingly, there is a possible arrival after the window shuts. I believe there is a free agent player being discussed at the top level. More on this when I have it. But you might as well take tomorrow off. Tempted myself.

Cousin? Alves? etc
brian_gallagher85 Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 But you might as well take tomorrow off. Tempted myself. Famous last words I assume the free agent is a midfielder...knowing us it could easily be a bloody keeper
budha Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 What about Boateng deal? Scharner? Cousin? Alves? etc I am virtually certain nicko ment for Rovers, not generally.

A better word would be "almost", is English no longer a requirement for being a journalist anymore? Only joshing nicko, whether your certainty is virtual or real it still doesn't bode well.....

You're dead on there mate, a good signing, he's got tons of potential it just needs bringing out.
