Me, I honestly think it will be good if they come up, the derby games and local competition will bring more people through the gates which we need. I'm not scared of them doing better than us, I would think we would get 6 easy points off them.

Whats wrong with them coming up for a year and going back down :lol:

Plus I have £20 on them getting promoted at 20/1 which were very good odds

Last seen in boys club team that beat you 3-2 in Carling Cup.

He wasn't very good though. As to be fair most of them weren't from the end of the first half onwards. They were saved by one or 2 senior players and were shown up against spurs.

He's one for the future, just not good enough now but in the lower leagues he might do well.

So who are Spurs going to get to replace him?

Ah well this is all so exciting...but yet doesn't involve Rovers at all. Why are some people convinced we're going to get Koumas? That costs money-something our board appear unwilling to spend. Admittedly I don't want to see us getting mugged off in terms of price, but we're still blatantly short of bodies in midfield.

Not baiting. I said they would sign a few - they didn't manage at first and I got some flak. No worries.

Now the second good addition has landed. End of.

I would be delighted to tell you the Rovers news. You have had most - if not all - of the trialists who came and went and the ones you thought about and then thought better of.

It would be great to break a goodie for you today and tell you what's happening.

But there isn't anything.

If Portsmouth have the bottle to sell their top scorer and buy Jermain Defoe I think they deserve a top-four finish and maybe even a top-six one.

I really hope Man City know what they are doing by signing Benjani to solve their goalscoring problems.

He is having a very lucky season. The last few he's been an awful person to rely on to score goals.

Pompey *spit* on the other hand will be letting go an average player and bringing in a top goalscorer for the next 5 years or so.

Does take courage to sell your top scorer - this could be a smart move on their part IMO

I'd take him in a minute...but it is very expensive.

Absolutely right. He's just winding everyone up and we are letting him do it. Just ignore the posts about Burnley and he'll get tired of doing it.
