Really think the board should have backed

Hughes, we've got a real chance of

reaching the top 6 but think we needed

to strengthen in a couple areas!

Do you suppose the plan all along was to stick with what we have now - keep the squad together? Surely adding a couple of new players will unbalance the team, is that (and the crazy prices) what is being banked on?

When does the window open again? At the end of the season or nearer the beginning of the next?

Perhaps rather than bringing in players now Hughes and the board want to leave it till the new season so any signings can gel with the rest of the team during pre-season?

How long will other teams be disrupted with new arrivals? Long enough for us to gain any kind of advantage?

Who knows, it could all be very different in 12 months time.

Rovers needed one, possibly two and probably three new faces.

The fact that they have landed none may well come back and bite their ass.

I get the feeling Hughes has got limited funds and the ones he can afford are not really good enough, so unless he finds a gem, there isn't really much point buying someone for the sake of it.

If Gally has gone, surely a midfielder must be coming as that leaves us with 4, give or take. Even if we don't sign anyone we will do fine, it is just whether we will be thinking "what if" at the end of the season as we slump due to having no fit Centre Mids.

Yeah Mokoena will solve all! Just a shame we couldn't fresh the midfield up, but i'm backing hughesy!
