Why bring in so many trialists and admit to moves for 'over-priced' players?

Rovers needed one, possibly two and probably three new faces.

The fact that they have landed none may well come back and bite their ass.

No point in pretending anything different.

Point taken, I don't quite get the whole trialist thing - are they players other teams are hawking around to get rid?

Seems that some investment would have pleased the baying masses - but everyone wants the next magical Hughes signing....oh well

Just thinking...

CHARLTON - sold best player and signed a half-fit winger and an average right back.

PALACE - signed nothing worth talking about, a former Rovers reserve.

STOKE - sold Eustace.

WATFORD - signed Bromby and Eustace.

BRISTOL CITY - nothing.

Burnley may have done rather well...

There have been four or five, none rated good enough. Some kids who may make it down the line, but not now.

But that seems to be the market, so the consequences dpwn the line are a little troubling.

How the hell can Burnley make a quality loan signing like Randall and we apparently can't find anyone anyewhere?

No offence taken, I've embarked on a positive journey this week (mainly down to work stresses) trying to ignore negative stuff in the world....

Bloody hell, I sound like some positive thinking nutcase. I think I must be getting tired.

Still, there'll be the derbies next season huh?! :rolleyes:

Not at all. But it has been a good window for the Coyle Man. It could have been better, but they are up with the pace.
