yoda Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Proper Italian food then. The reason I don't eat Italian when I go out is that it's normally just Pizza and Pasta (i.e. - easy student food). You've not tried Checcos then Quote

donnermeat Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 (edited) Went to Shimla Spice in the darklands on Thursday. Got to say it was delicious, the patrons were about 90% Asian too which is always a good sign for its authenticity. I think sometimes though they can use too much ghee for the real authentic dishes but thankfully not at Shimla. Staff couldn't do enough for us too. Definitely recommend this place. Gav Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 Just had another superb meal at The Harbourmaster in Aberaeron, never fails to deliver. If you find yourself half way down the West coast of Wales give it a go, you won't be disappointed. Quote

yoda Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 Right next door. And BK is open. Burger King is crap and sounds like Taco Loco is too. Very surprised when I saw BK was opening there, the rent on the Larder was £80k per year with Bus' rates of £42k per year that's £2300 per week before even opening the doors. Can't see it lasting as the square is a shadow of its former self Quote

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 I just caught part of " The Food Programme " on BBC radio 4 this dinner time. It was mostly about Lancashire restaurants and food suppliers. It mentioned some of the places I've read about on here. The presenter " Sheila Dillon" revealed herself has being a mad keen Rovers fan in the past ! Quote
only2garners Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Sheila Dillon was brought up in Hoghton - I think her dad was working at Hoghton Tower. She needs to work a bit on her geography though - Tarleton on the Fylde! Quote
